Chapter 959 Mr. Mitchell Asked Me to Pick You Up
Cheryl had a hard time getting this opportunity.
'Christina, you must perform well for me in Hudson's bed!' she thought.
When Cheryl got home, it was already late at night.
As soon as she entered the house, Renee Donovan came down from upstairs. "Cheryl, why are you back so late? Where have you been?"
"I had a social event with the crew today!" Cheryl held her head, pretending to be in pain, "Renee, you have no idea how hard it is for me to get a role!"
Seeing Cheryl's discomfort, Renee felt a bit distressed. "Cheryl, you've worked hard. Go to your room and get some rest."
"Okay." Cheryl held her head and walked towards her room.
At this moment.
Christina was experiencing something she had never felt before. She felt uncomfortable all over and only felt relief when she touched the man's skin.
She wrapped her arms around the man's body, responding shyly to his kisses.
In a daze, she heard the man whisper a name in her ear. "Elisa."
The next day.
Bernard woke up suddenly in bed, his head throbbing. He realized he wasn't wearing any clothes and felt something was wrong. Turning his head, he saw Christina still asleep on the other side of the bed!
'Who is she?'
Bernard quickly remembered what happened last night and felt repulsed by Christina!
As the head of the Mitchell family, many women tried to get close to him using all sorts of tricks.
Bernard had always kept himself clean and never got involved with those women. Yesterday, he lost his mind and had a lapse in judgment!
Yesterday, he attended a business party, drank a few more glasses, and was helped to a hotel by his subordinates to rest for the night.
As a result, Christina took advantage of the situation!
Bernard looked at Christina coldly, not seeing any difference between her and those women who would do anything for fame and fortune!
At this moment, Christina's eyelashes fluttered, and she woke up.
When she woke up and saw the unfamiliar man in front of her, Christina was startled. She looked down and saw she wasn't wearing any clothes. She quickly grabbed the blanket to cover herself and screamed, "Who are you? Why are you in my room?"
Bernard frowned, "Take a good look. Whose room do you think this is?"
Christina forced herself to calm down, looked around, and gradually remembered what happened yesterday. "Isn't this the room my sister booked? How did you get in here?"
As she spoke, Christina wrapped herself in the blanket and jumped off the bed cautiously.
She inadvertently saw a red stain on the bed and felt a sharp pain in her head.
Last night, she lost her virginity to a stranger.
How did it come to this?
Last night, Cheryl said she would come back to find her.
Bernard thought she was acting and didn't want to get entangled with her. He took out a bank card and threw it on the bed, "The money in here is enough for you to live comfortably. Take the money and never appear in front of me again!"
Christina was stunned, feeling deeply humiliated. She grabbed the bank card and threw it back at him, "Who wants your money?"
Then she quickly went to the bathroom, put on her clothes, came out, took two hundred dollars from her wallet, and threw it at Bernard, "Money for services rendered. Last night was my bad luck. Don't bother me again!"
Christina returned Bernard's words to him, and before he could react, she ran out!
Taking a taxi back home, Christina saw Cheryl about to leave.
Seeing Christina return, Cheryl was extremely agitated and rushed up to slap her hard in the face. "Christina, where did you go last night?"
Just five minutes ago, Cheryl, thinking her plan had succeeded, called Hudson, hoping he would fulfill his promise and give her the role.
Instead, Hudson angrily scolded her, "Cheryl, how dare you call me for the role! Are you messing with me? You said your sister is very beautiful and has a great figure, making me wait all night in the hotel! But no one showed up. If you're playing games with me, don't expect to get any role from me in the future!"
Hudson didn't give her a chance to explain and hung up the phone.
Cheryl, having been scolded and losing the role she longed for, was seething with anger and had no outlet for it.
At this moment, Christina appeared. If Cheryl wasn't going to take it out on her, then who else?
Christina was stunned by Cheryl's slap, vaguely feeling something was wrong. "Cheryl, why did you hit me? Didn't you tell me to go to the room you booked and that you would come find me later? But I didn't see you this morning!"
"Christina, stop lying! You didn't go to the room I booked last night!"
Cheryl glared at her, eyes full of burning anger. "Hudson waited for you all night in the room, and you didn't go! Tell me honestly, where did you go?"
"Hudson?" Christina caught the key point in her words, "Who is this Hudson? Cheryl, what were you planning for me yesterday?"
Since she had already let it slip, Cheryl didn't want to hide it anymore. "Hudson is the investor of the TV series 'Dreamlike.' According to my plan, if you spent the night with Hudson, the lead female role would be mine. But now, because of you, it's all ruined."
Christina finally understood what happened last night. Cheryl wasn't heartbroken and needed her to drink with her; it was all a lie!
"So, you sold me out last night, right?" Christina felt a sharp pain in her heart, her eyes gradually becoming sore, "Cheryl, I've always treated you as my sister. How could you do this to me!"
Cheryl was stunned by her outburst but quickly reacted. "So what? You were always the extra in our family. It's your honor to be able to help me!"
Tears rolled down Christina's cheeks. Even though they were half-sisters, even though Cheryl often bullied her, Christina always treated Cheryl as her real sister.
But she never expected that in Cheryl's eyes, Christina was just a tool to be used and sold at any time.
As they argued, a black business car stopped in front of them, and a man in a black suit got out.
The man walked up to them, compared a photo, and then fixed his gaze on Christina. "Christina, right? Mr. Mitchell sent me to pick you up."
"Mr. Mitchell?" Christina repeated, trying to recall but failing to remember anyone by that name.
