Chapter 777 That's Your Business

Ambrosia read a hint of disdain from Sunny's expression, which naturally displeased her.

At this moment, the secretary was still standing at the door, feeling guilty for not stopping the intruder.

Ambrosia stared at Sunny for a while, then looked up and waved her hand at her secretary, signaling her to leave.

The secretary, feeling relieved, quickly closed the door and left.

With no one else in the office, Ambrosia didn't show Sunny any kindness and sneered, "Is it that I'm not worthy of your courtesy? So, what brings you here today?"

Sunny smiled, "Ms. Hawthorne, you misunderstood. How could it be that you're not worthy? I was just joking! Didn't you often joke with me before? Why can't you take a joke now? What, are you really annoyed?"

Ambrosia looked at him expressionlessly, "No. What do you want? Just say it."

Sunny didn't rush to speak. He leaned back in his chair, looking around the office, which hadn't changed at all in three years.

He could still remember the scenes of himself coming here every day three years ago.

He also hadn't forgotten the sight of Ambrosia's ex-boyfriend coming out of the office bathroom shirtless.

Seeing Sunny not speaking, Ambrosia impatiently knocked on the table, "Mr. Mitchell, if you have no business, I won't see you out!"

This was clearly a dismissal!

Sunny refocused his gaze on her.

"I'm here to catch up. Do you have time?"

Ambrosia knew what he meant and calmly adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses, "Sorry, I really don't have time today."

A hint of mockery flashed in Sunny's eyes, "So busy? Isn't it already lunchtime? We can go to a nearby hotel. An hour might not be much, but it's enough to catch up a bit!"

Ambrosia smiled, "I'm not busy."

Hearing her say she wasn't busy, Sunny naturally thought she was willing to spend more time catching up with him and smiled, "That's even better! I'm not busy either, I can stay as long as you want!"

Ambrosia's slender fingers tapped on the desk as if playing the piano, "Sorry! I'm not busy, but I have an appointment with someone else today, so I can't catch up with you! How about we reschedule?"

Her words were casual and accompanied by a faint smile—polite yet undeniably irritating.

Sunny's displeasure was evident on his face, "Really? Who are you meeting?"

Ambrosia replied, "That's none of your business, Mr. Mitchell. Don't ask too much. Knowing too much ruins the fun! If you want to play, play it cool!"

Sunny's face stiffened for a moment, then he sneered, "Of course, I can play it cool! I mean, who are you meeting? I've never tried a threesome!"

Ambrosia's brow furrowed, and she almost couldn't resist throwing the cold coffee on her desk in his face!

"Mr. Mitchell, you have quite the tolerance! But unfortunately, I'm not interested in group activities!"

Sunny crossed his arms and squinted at her, "Really? I thought you were the type who was very open! Seems like you do have some boundaries!"

Ambrosia's eyes turned cold. "Alright, Mr. Mitchell, you're not someone who doesn't know boundaries. Since you know I have an appointment, you should leave now!"

Sunny raised an eyebrow and put his long legs on her desk, "What if I don't leave?"

Ambrosia had just praised him for being mature, and now, he was acting childish again!

"If you don't leave, then I'll let you have the office to yourself! I'm leaving!"

With that, Ambrosia stood up, swiftly grabbed her coat, and prepared to leave.

She was very hungry and didn't have time to chat with him. She planned to go out for a meal, assuming Sunny would be gone by the time she got back.

Unexpectedly, Sunny also stood up and quickly blocked her way.

Ambrosia's brow furrowed with impatience, "What do you want? I have an appointment, and it's rude to keep him waiting. I don't make a habit of being late!"

Sunny stepped closer, forcing her to step back.

Ambrosia sensed the tension from Sunny, "Mr. Mitchell, didn't you claim to be a mature adult over the past three years? A mature man wouldn't act so childishly, blocking someone's way like this!"

Sunny didn't speak until he had her backed against the wall, raising his arm to trap her within his arms, "Do you really think there are mature men in this world? Let me tell you, every man is childish in front of a woman he's interested in!"

Ambrosia was taken aback, "So, you're saying you're interested in me?"

Sunny unabashedly lifted her chin, "Of course! If I weren't interested in you, why would I come to catch up?"

He spoke these ambiguous, suggestive words with an extremely unserious attitude, unlike three years ago when he was dead serious about everything he said.

After realizing this, Ambrosia calmly smiled, "Then I am truly honored that you still think of me so fondly!"

Sunny pinched her chin, "Yes! You should feel honored. I don't easily get interested in women! Don't you think it's a pity to just leave like this?"

Ambrosia tried to turn her face to shake off his hand, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't.

"Mr. Mitchell, I do hate to leave you, but everything has to follow the order of precedence. I have an appointment with someone else first!" She said this on purpose.

Sunny was indifferent, "You can break the appointment! After all, you're not very trustworthy. Didn't you often deceive me back then?"

Ambrosia really didn't care about Sunny back then and would occasionally forget about their dates and not show up.

Sunny was quite resentful, still bringing it up now!

Ambrosia said, "Today's appointment is different. The other person is very important, and I can't break it! Mr. Mitchell, please let me go this time. I promise I'll make an appointment with you another day!"

She didn't want to talk to this jerk like this, but Sunny was much stronger than he was three years ago, and she couldn't break free.

Sunny said unhappily, "No! It has to be today! I want to catch up with you today. Whoever else you have an appointment with is your problem!"
