Chapter 1008 Bobby

Rachel shot him a look. If it weren't for the crowd, she would've thrown her temper right now. She spun around and stormed off.

Natalie was about to follow when Bobby stopped her. "Hey, what's your name?"

Natalie brushed his hand off. "None of your business."

"Ooh, mysterious," Bobby whistled.

Natalie quickly walked away to catch up with Rachel.

"Bobby, tough luck. Two girls in a row turned you down."

"Bobby, they're both here for Robbie."

"I think the first one's prettier. Bobby, which one do you like?"

"I like the second one. She's got that elegant vibe and those long legs." Bobby watched Rachel's back and saw her hop on a red Maserati and speed away, leaving him in the dust. Her smile was as bright as a wild rose. He took a deep breath, catching a whiff of that intense yet elusive rose scent, and got lost in thought.

Rachel stomped her foot as she left the club. "That Bobby, what's he so smug about? Just 'cause he got first place?"

"He just made you lose your bet." Natalie had also placed a bet, but she was just messing around and casually bet on Bobby. Unexpectedly, Bobby won.

Natalie smiled and asked, "Why don't you like Bobby? Is it 'cause you like the NOZ team? THT is NOZ's arch-rival?"

Rachel nodded.

Natalie said tentatively, "I think Bobby's pretty good."

"Yeah, but I don't like him." Mainly because NOZ was an old team, and Rachel had been following them for three years. She didn't expect them to lose this time. And THT was a new team, and Bobby was indeed quite impressive.

"Got any plans tonight?" Rachel glanced at Natalie, and before Natalie could answer, Rachel said, "Let's go grab some late-night snacks."

Rachel dragged Natalie to a barbecue joint near the club.

It was around 9 PM, and since the race had just ended, the place was packed. Natalie sat down and ordered some skewers. She sent a message to Adrian, telling him she was out with Rachel.

Adrian texted he'd come to pick her up.

Natalie replied: [Rachel's driving. She can take me home.]

Just as she finished replying, the owner brought the skewers.

Natalie took off her mask, glancing around.

Rachel asked, "Worried about being recognized? Should we eat in the car?"

"Probably not, and even if I am recognized, it's no big deal. I'm just out with you, isn't that normal?" Natalie took a bite of the grilled meat. "This place is pretty good."

"It's really good. When I was little, I always thought about opening a coffee shop and a barbecue place. My mom said I had no ambition because other people open shops to make money, but I wanted to open them just to eat." Rachel couldn't help but laugh.

Natalie also smiled. "When I was little, I always thought about how to get away from the Cullen family."

Rachel knew that Natalie's mom used to work for the Cullen family. It was clear Alice often exploited Natalie and Rosalie. She asked, "How did you meet Adrian?"
