Chapter 1106 Andrea's Schemes
Adrian was kinda zoning out, the smell of cherry blossoms filling his head.
Natalie helped Adrian to the bathroom. They were married, but right now, to Adrian, Natalie was just some stranger. He said, "Get out."
Natalie looked at him. "You sure you can handle it? Alright, I'll wait outside."
The midday sun was pretty nice.
Natalie opened the window, and the temperature was just perfect. She said, "Let's go for a walk. It'll help you get your legs moving."
Adrian glanced out the window and didn't argue. Maybe after being in a coma for a while, he wanted to get out too.
Adrian hated the smell of disinfectant in the room.
Being proud, he didn't like that his legs were giving him trouble.
His legs were fine; the car accident had messed up his head and lungs. But after being stuck in bed for two months, his legs needed some practice.
The doctor said walking a bit every day would get him back to normal in about two weeks.
This was one of those fancy private hospitals in Vachilit, with a great environment and a cute little garden.
Natalie gently supported Adrian as he slowly got used to walking. His leg muscles were stiff, and he moved really slowly.
When he almost fell, Natalie caught him. Adrian coldly said, "Let go."
Natalie knew he hated being helped like that, and he didn't like being touched by a "stranger" like her.
She let go, watching Adrian slowly get the hang of walking.
Sunlight hit Adrian, giving him a soft golden glow.
He was tall and straight, with a slender build, a straight back, and broad shoulders.
Natalie followed him step by step.
Even though Adrian had forgotten her, Natalie was still happy.
She could never forget that day when Adrian held her hand as the car was flipping over. When everything went black, Adrian said he would stay with her if they died.
'Adrian, even if you never remember me again, I'll stay by your side because as long as you're alive, that's enough. I can't go through that life-and-death thing again,' Natalie thought.
Andrea came to the hospital almost every day to see Adrian.
When Natalie was in the room and saw Andrea, she would leave because even if she didn't, Adrian would ask her to step out.
As Natalie sat on the bench outside the room, a nurse said to her, "Miss, we have a rest area. You can go there to relax for a bit."
Natalie shook her head.
Rachel showed up at some point. "Natalie, why are you sitting out here? Where's Adrian? Is he in the room?"
Rachel knew about Adrian's amnesia and tried to comfort Natalie, "Don't worry too much. Adrian's amnesia is temporary, and the doctor said there's a shadow in his brain."
"Once his body recovers and he has surgery, he can get his memory back. Even without surgery, there's a chance he'll remember. It's all temporary."
"I'm fine. Honestly, I haven't thought much about Adrian's amnesia. As long as he's healthy, that's all that matters," Natalie said.
Rachel tried to open the room door, but Natalie stopped her.
