Chapter 570 Quite a Handful

Natalie was like, "Let's grab some grub. After dinner, I'll bounce on my own. You can get on with yourself. Don't worry about me.."

There was a knock at the door.

Heather strolled over, thinking it was Yvonne, who said she'd swing by for dinner. But it turned out to be Dylan, Herman Simmons' right-hand man. Dylan, around 30, with glasses and a bit of a delicate vibe, asked, "Heather, is Natalie here?"

Heather was like, "Dylan, what's the deal?"

Dylan said, "Mr. Simmons and I saw the lights on and figured Natalie was still here. He needs to chat with her about something."

Heather shot back, "Whatever it is, it can wait till tomorrow. We're about to head out after dinner."

Dylan insisted, "It's about that online drama. Mr. Simmons is worried. We gotta nip this in the bud; can't let the internet go wild."

Heather went quiet.

Dylan had a point.

She turned to Natalie. "Natalie, Dylan's here for you."

Natalie followed Dylan out. "Heather, you go ahead. I'll catch up after I see Mr. Simmons."

Heather cleaned up, a bit anxious about Natalie. She backed up the video on her computer, killed the lights, and headed downstairs. Even though Natalie told her to leave first, Heather wasn't feeling it and decided to wait in the car. She shot Natalie a text: [Natalie, I'm in the garage. Hit me up if anything goes down.]

Herman was the VP of Dynamic Entertainment, handling business stuff.

Natalie got to Herman's office. Dylan knocked and opened the door. "Mr. Simmons, Natalie's here."

Herman was at his desk. He looked up and smiled. "Natalie, come on in and take a seat. You've been with us for a bit, and we haven't really chatted. Finally got some time today."

Natalie, after a long day of filming, was in a chill outfit—a light silver-gray hoodie and sweatpants, makeup off, showing her natural glow.

Natalie eyed Herman, not really getting why he called her. She hadn't met many big shots at the company, mostly just Mindy. At Dynamic Entertainment, besides the top dog Tristan, there were Herman, Finnian Harrington, and Lucas Abernathy.

Finnian handled film stuff.

Herman took care of business.

Herman warmly guided Natalie to the sofa. He told Dylan, "Give me a moment with Natalie alone, and make sure we're not disturbed."

Dylan bounced.

Natalie checked her phone and saw Heather's message. She frowned a bit and asked cautiously, "Mr. Simmons, what's this about? My agent's waiting for me."

Herman asked, "Your agent, Mindy?"

Natalie replied, "No, my executive agent, Heather."

Herman relaxed hearing that. As long as Mindy wasn't around, it was cool. He had to respect Mindy, but a minor agent was no biggie. He smiled and sat next to Natalie, his thigh brushing hers. "Natalie, you've been quite the talk lately."
