Chapter 301 Jealousy
Adrian walked in and immediately noticed two overlapping shadows in the corner.
His eyes narrowed, fists clenched, then released them. A hint of displeasure crossed his face.
When he saw who it was, his expression darkened.
Raymond just wanted to play by the rules. He wasn't into those flashy women and didn't have such tastes. This waiter seemed simpler, maybe because Raymond grew up privileged. He never thought the waiter would reject him.
Raymond kissed the back of Natalie's hand and was stunned.
He thought, "She actually dares to reject me?"
The money he spent on a bottle of wine here was several times her monthly salary. He kissed her as a special favor, and she rejected him?
Natalie was also stunned.
She didn't expect Raymond to kiss her. She quickly covered her lips.
Raymond's kiss on her hand was soft and warm. She was momentarily stunned, then stepped back.
With that step, Natalie's back was against the wall. "Mr. Newman, what are you doing?"
Raymond frowned and straightened up, not expecting Natalie to reject him.
All the other women fawned over him, and a waiter with a modest salary rejected him?
"Raymond." Colby felt the tension and shivered inside. What was going on between Raymond and Natalie?
Raymond turned around. "Colby, oh, Adrian, you're here too."
Colby thought Raymond couldn't read the room. Didn't he feel the tension?
Adrian walked over with his hands in his pockets. He glanced at Natalie for a moment before sitting on the sofa. His cold demeanor chilled the room. The people playing games looked at each other, not daring to speak.
Natalie bit her lip, thinking, 'Why is Adrian here? Did he see what she was doing with Raymond?'
Raymond, unfazed, sat back down and crossed his legs. "Adrian, I thought you were too busy to come."
Adrian never enjoyed these gatherings.
Adrian's lips curled slightly. "Yeah, I interrupted your kiss with her?"
Raymond took a sip of water, soothing his throat. "I just lost a game." He glanced at Natalie by the wall, then quickly looked away.
Adrian noticed and let out a cold laugh.
Natalie was quite skilled at seduction. In just a few days, she had already attracted Raymond.
Colby wiped his forehead and sat between them. "Raymond, let's have a few drinks."
Colby thought, 'Okay, chill out! Can't you see Adrian's totally bummed out? How did you get involved with Natalie? And even kissed her.'
Raymond waved his hand. "No, I can't drink anymore."
The tense atmosphere lightened with the men's banter.
The women occasionally glanced at Adrian, blushing. When Adrian walked in, he was the center of attention.
He was mature and handsome, far superior to the other men.
But Adrian's aloof and stern aura made the women a bit afraid. Lina glanced around. "Game on?"
