Chapter 484 Unable to Ignore
There weren't many servants around, so figuring it out was a piece of cake.
But nobody fessed up. Renee yelled a bit, got her power trip, and then let them go.
Lizzy went back to the kitchen, sweating bullets.
She was the one who tipped off Curtis. She had the driver's number, called him up, and he told Curtis.
Lizzy wasn't sure if she did the right thing.
She owed Natalie big time and had to make it right.
Back then, she chickened out and gave Natalie's address to Alice. She'd been with Natalie long enough to know that Natalie hated liars and backstabbers.
The company set up a new place for Natalie. A bunch of other artists lived in the same complex. The security was top-notch, keeping the paparazzi and creeps out.
Natalie was getting ready to move these past couple of days. She called Bella to give her the heads-up.
Natalie asked, "Is your friend back yet? I'm moving and really wanna thank her for letting me stay. I wanna take her out for a meal."
Bella was caught off guard for a sec before she remembered that the place was actually bought by Daniel. To get Natalie to move in, she lied that it was 'a friend abroad.'
Bella said, "She's still not back. The place is just sitting empty. You're moving? Where to?"
Natalie replied, "The company set it up, Celestial Garden."
Bella said, "That place is sweet, great spot. Lots of celebs live there."
Natalie said, "I'm moving in the next couple of days. I'll give you the key when I'm done."
Bella quickly changed her clothes. "I'm coming over now."
Natalie was packing her closet, holding her phone between her neck and shoulder. "Why the rush?"
Bella said, "I'm bored at home. I'll come over, hang out, and help you move."
Bella drove over to Blue Mountain Community after a bit.
Natalie was packing her closet. Bella walked in. "Did Adrian give you this? It's so fancy."
The closet was almost all stuff Adrian had given her.
All kinds of luxury items, limited editions.
"Natalie, you have this too? This denim bag is a global limited edition. A friend of mine tried to buy it but couldn't. Mr. Howard really knows how to get the good stuff."
Natalie glanced at the bag. She'd never even used it.
Bella helped Natalie pack up the bedroom.
Natalie's most prized possessions were the books on her shelf.
She walked over and carefully put the books in a box. A car would come later to move everything.
Bella was packing up Natalie's suitcase. "Where's Rosalie?"
Natalie paused. Bella didn't know about her situation or that Rosalie was in the hospital. She bit her lip. "She's in the hospital."
Bella quickly asked, "Is Rosalie okay? What's wrong?"
Natalie said, "It's just stress. She'll be fine in a few days and will be out the day after tomorrow."
Bella said, "I'll go with you to visit her this afternoon. So you're moving to Celestial Garden. Where's Rosalie gonna stay? I guess your agency is pretty strict. Artists can't live with their families."
Big agencies had tight control.
Natalie hadn't thought about it before. Hearing this, she started to consider it. She took out her phone and called Mindy. Three minutes later, she hung up and, just like Bella said, artists couldn't live with their families, but Mindy said she could figure something out.
But Natalie thought about it and said no.
After finding out the truth, she couldn't live with Rosalie like before, but she couldn't just leave her either.
