Chapter 664 A Bold Idea
A faint smirk flickered across Natalie’s gorgeous face. "You think you can give me everything I want? What if I want One Day, but Claire's dead set on Alice playing the part?"
Karen's face tightened up; she'd heard the buzz about this earlier today.
Alice was her talent, and the contract was inked through Karen.
Claire had personally called Lucas, and that was that. Karen sighed, "There are ways to snag this role. You could drop that video I gave you, trashing Alice's rep. Or you could go straight to Mr. Howard. But after Mrs. Howard's call, my hands are tied. Dynamic Entertainment's the Howard family's turf."
Indeed, Dynamic Entertainment was Howard territory.
Natalie raised an eyebrow at Karen's bluntness. "You're pretty straightforward."
Karen shrugged, "I've been in this game at Dynamic Entertainment Media long enough to see how it works. If you want respect, you need power. Money can buy respect, but it can't buy power. Power, though, can bring in the cash."
After the chat with Karen, Natalie headed back to her room. She chilled for a bit before heading out to a suburban set to shoot the new line of bags and clothes for brand C.
Heather chimed in, "I talked to the PR at brand C. They made you the brand partner, the top spot in the country. Other partners include Charlotte, newcomer award winner Danielle, the male star Brent, and rising star Maurice. Everyone's shooting the main promo stuff, but only your pics are going on posters for ground promotion. Every store nationwide will have your promo."
Soon enough, they rolled up to the set.
Brand C's planning team and top domestic female photographer, Alan, were running the show.
When they got there, the team was still setting up. Natalie hit the makeup room to get glammed up. The makeup artist was brand C's go-to, a pro at nailing a flawless, natural look with light makeup.
Brand C liked to keep the focus on the clothes and bags, not heavy makeup that'd steal the spotlight.
High-end brands loved to let the product shine, so the makeup artist went for a flawless, natural look.
As soon as Natalie walked in, the makeup artist's eyes lit up.
Natalie's skin was smooth, and she carried herself with grace. Her medium-length hair fell just right, and her face looked pure and flawless. With years of experience, the makeup artist could tell Natalie was genuinely bare-faced. Her skin was just perfect.
No wonder Natalie blew up. She was a natural beauty with insanely good skin.
Her face was so pure and flawless, even her eyebrows were on point. The makeup artist had been in the biz for over a decade and had worked with top actresses. In reality, their skin was just okay, and it was her mad makeup skills, along with post-production magic, that made them look flawless.
But Natalie had the best skin she'd ever seen.
An wild idea just dawned on the makeup artist.
Why go light on such a perfect face?
It needed to be bold and glamorous, drop-dead gorgeous, and unmatched.
The makeup artist ran her idea by the planning and photography teams.
