Chapter 735 Identity
Heather was kinda worried about Natalie and wanted to check in on her. "I gotta see Natalie later."
Yancy leaned his chin on Heather's shoulder, his voice all raspy, "How about a change of the subject. Is Natalie really that big of a deal?"
Heather replied, "Duh, I told you I got promoted. I'm the VP of Dynamic Entertainment now. Can you believe it? When I first got into this biz, I just wanted to be a regular agent. Never thought I'd end up as a big shot at the top film company. It's all thanks to Natalie."
"So, who's more important, me or Natalie?" Yancy hugged her tight, breathing in the scent of her neck.
His hot breath tickled Heather's ear, making her blush. "Both. My man and my girl."
Hearing "my man," Yancy lifted Heather's chin a bit. "Say it again, Anna."
Heather didn't back down. She wrapped her arms around Yancy's neck, sitting on his lap, and said seriously, "My man."
Yancy, eyes on her lips, asked, "Who's your man?"
Heather responded promptly, "Yancy."
Yancy leaned in and kissed Heather. As he held her, the bar staff nearby discreetly gave them some space.
Hector West came downstairs and saw the scene. He quickly turned around, sighed, and went back upstairs.
Lots of girls chased after Yancy, but it was the first time Hector saw Yancy so into a woman.
At first, Hector thought Yancy was just messing around, curious 'cause of Heather's hot figure. But he didn't expect Yancy to fall for her so hard.
Yancy left Blue Bar at 11 AM. He drove Heather home and promised to help her dig into Cassidy, asking her to chill for a couple of days. Then he headed straight to the hospital.
Outside the ICU on the first floor, there were about seven people.
Yancy immediately spotted Cassidy's bodyguard and Lucy, who was always with Cassidy.
Lucy had seen Cassidy rise from a nobody to her current position.
Besides the bodyguard and Lucy, there were also Nicholas's people.
Nicholas was a shadowy figure, and Yancy knew Cassidy would eventually hit a major snag because of him. But that was none of Yancy's business.
Yancy had told Cassidy to let go of the Reynolds Family. Cassidy had her own publicly traded tech company. Why fight for the Reynolds Family fortune? Greed would bite her in the end.
But Cassidy was stubborn and wouldn't listen to Yancy.
Cassidy would only get more intense in her schemes.
Austin, ever since that car accident years ago, had been in and out of the hospital every few months. It was a miracle his body had held up this long.
From a distance, Lucy noticed Yancy and was shocked. She scuttered over to him.
Yancy turned and walked to the stairwell.
Lucy followed. "Mr. Bailey, what are you doing here? Looking for Mrs. Reynolds? She just went into the room a bit ago."
Yancy asked, "What's up with Austin?"
"Well..." Lucy hesitated for a few seconds, like she was deciding whether to keep the truth from Yancy.
A mocking smile crept onto Yancy's lips. "Did Cassidy tell you to keep this from me, too?"
