Chapter 1102 Who Is She?

Natalie had one simple wish: for Adrian to wake up.

Now, seeing Adrian sitting up in the hospital bed, surrounded by doctors and the Howard family elders, Natalie was over the moon. She didn't rush forward, though. Tears of joy streamed down her face, and she wiped them away with a trembling hand.

She knew the Howard family elders were just as worried about Adrian as she was.

Once the doctors finished their check-up and gave some instructions, they left.

Rachel turned around, spotted Natalie, and shouted, "Natalie, Adrian's awake! Come over here!" She nudged Andrea aside and pulled Natalie closer.

Ruben smiled. "Natalie's here."

"Grandpa," Natalie said softly.

She stood by the bed, looking at Adrian. He was alert, not the lifeless figure she'd been visiting for the past two months. Tears welled up again.

Those two months of Adrian's coma had been a nightmare for her.

Sensing the moment, everyone else in the room exchanged glances and started to leave, giving Natalie and Adrian some space.

Andrea hesitated, glancing between Natalie and Adrian. "Adrian, since your wife's here, I'll head out and come back later."

But as she turned to leave, Adrian grabbed her hand, his voice raspy, "Who did you say she is?"

Andrea froze.

Melissa and Ruben, who were almost at the door, stopped in their tracks.

Claire turned around too.

Andrea's eyes widened. "Adrian, what's going on?"

Adrian looked at Andrea, a million questions swirling in his mind but not knowing where to start.

When he woke up, there were so many people around, doctors and nurses checking him over.

Finally, he voiced the question that had been nagging at him.

"Andrea, weren't you in a coma? When did you wake up?" His throat was dry and tight from two months of disuse, but he couldn't drink much water yet.

Andrea glanced at Natalie, then back at Adrian, confused. 'When I woke up, wasn't Adrian there too? How could he ask such a question?'

Rachel's eyes widened. "Adrian, what's wrong with you? Andrea woke up a while ago and even attended your wedding to Natalie. Are you still out of it from just waking up?"

Claire chimed in, "Adrian, do you need more rest?"

Adrian turned his gaze to Natalie. Long hair, smooth skin, a natural, fresh look—she gave him a comforting feeling, but he had no memory of her.

Seeing the confusion in his eyes, Natalie sat by the bed and held his hand. His fingers were warm, hers cool and delicate. His hand trembled, and she squeezed it tighter. "I'm Natalie, Adrian. Are you feeling okay?"

Adrian squinted slightly.

He repeated the name in his mind, 'Natalie. Natalie. But I still don't remember her. Is she really my wife?'
