Chapter 191 Natalie Saved Mr. Howard

Jeffery gazed at the young girl before him. For some reason, he suddenly felt a sense of calm and immediately responded, "He has had a heart bypass surgery with high blood pressure. He needs to take antihypertensive medication daily, aspirin weekly, and some health supplements."

She said, "Jeffery, please disperse the crowd and open the windows for ventilation."

Jeffery hesitated for a second, then nodded. "Alright."

Alice glared at Natalie. Seeing Jeffery actually following her instructions, she immediately said, "Jeffery, why are you listening to her? She's just giving random orders. Mr. Howard is in this condition. We must be cautious!"

Jeffery hesitated for a moment and looked towards Adrian. "What do you think...?"

At this moment, Natalie's calm voice came through. "Ms. Cullen, you‘d better kept quiet. If we miss the best time for treatment, no one can save Mr. Howard."

"You!" Alice wanted to say more, but she suddenly saw Adrian's cold eyes and fell silent.

Adrian looked at Natalie. "Can you save my grandpa Ruben?"

Natalie replied, "I'll try."

She couldn't guarantee it.

Melissa frowned, unwilling to risk Ruben's life. "Natalie, if you're not confident, won't you be wasting Ruben's treatment time?"

Natalie turned her face slightly. "Mrs. Murphy, do you think Mr. Howard can wait for the ambulance in his current state for half an hour?" She gave a faint smile. "In half an hour, he would be beyond saving."

"You!" Melissa exclaimed, "How can you speak like that!"

Natalie took out an acupuncture kit from her bag and retrieved some silver needles. "Am I not speaking the truth?"

The faces of the Howard family members changed instantly.

Joe pondered for a couple of seconds. Indeed, in Ruben's condition, it was impossible to wait for the ambulance or for Gary to arrive. Every second was crucial. Could Natalie really save Ruben?

"Jeffery, open the window." Adrian said, "Let's all step back a bit."

He showed his trust in Natalie with this statement.

Natalie checked Ruben's condition. It was critical. She immediately began acupuncture, a skill she had learned from her grandmother, a renowned local doctor. Natalie had known various herbs since childhood.

Natalie applied three needles.

Ruben coughed violently for a while and slowly opened his eyes.

Melissa felt a surge of joy. "Dad."

"Grandpa, are you alright?" Adrian asked.

"Thank goodness, you're okay." Members of the Howard family instantly gathered around.

Natalie also sighed in relief. She was unsure. Seeing Ruben awake, she relaxed and stood up. Packing her silver needles, she stepped aside.

Alice was stunned. She hadn't expected Natalie to save Ruben.

But at this moment, she had no time to care about Natalie and joined the Howard family around Ruben. Although his breathing was still labored, his vital signs had returned. His vision was still blurry, but he remembered someone had saved him.

He looked vaguely at a silhouette.

In a frail and urgent voice, he asked, "Was it Alice who saved me?"

These words caused extreme embarrassment for Alice, who forced a stiff smile.

Jeffery said, "Mr. Howard, it was Natalie who saved you."

He helped Ruben sit up and patted his chest. "Mr. Howard, how do you feel? Is there still any discomfort?"

Ruben looked at Natalie and beckoned her over. Natalie walked up and said, "Do you feel thirsty, anxious, and sweaty on your back now?"

Ruben nodded.
