Chapter 506 Samantha Seeks Lydia's Help

Adrian checked out the look in her eyes, let her go, and Natalie gave him a quick peck on the lips before grabbing her PJs and heading to the bathroom for a shower.

By 9 AM, Natalie rolled up to Dynamic Entertainment Media.

Samantha's drama didn't really shake things up at the company.

First off, Samantha wasn't exactly a big deal. Sure, she threw fits now and then, but Lydia always had her back. Around the real stars, she was always super kiss-ass.

Second, the whole mess got squashed almost immediately. Lydia found it tricky to handle and didn't want to make a scene.

In the office, Lydia was gearing up to launch a short play. She'd put some thought into the script. The male lead was from Dynamic Entertainment Media, and the female lead was a C-list actress. The deals were nearly done, just waiting to start filming. She had to juggle some stuff remotely every day. While she was busy, there was a knock on the door.

Without looking up, Lydia said, "Come in."

Tessa walked in. "Lydia, you gotta help Samantha."

Lydia looked up. "What are you doing here?"

She got up, closed the door, and stared at Tessa.

Tessa begged, "Samantha hasn't eaten or drunk anything for a whole day and night. Please, talk to her. You picked her from Vilniusky Media University. You're the only one who can help her now. Please, Lydia, you can't just watch Samantha get permanently banned. She's only 22, still so young."

Lydia sighed.

Seeing Tessa all teary and begging, she couldn't help but feel bad.

Yeah, she had spotted Samantha at Vilniusky Media University and signed her to Dynamic Entertainment Media, promising her the good stuff.

Samantha had mad potential, with that innocent and pure look, perfect for some wholesome TV dramas. Six months after signing with Dynamic Entertainment Media, she landed a role in Esme's movie.

Now, with this sudden and random permanent ban, Lydia also lost someone who could bring her benefits.

After all, Samantha had scored a bunch of gigs thanks to Esme's movie. Now, with the sudden ban, those gigs were toast, which meant losses for Lydia.

Seeing Lydia waver, Tessa kept on pleading.

Lydia finally agreed to meet Samantha.

After leaving the company, Samantha went back to the apartment set up by Dynamic Entertainment Media and cried her eyes out for a whole day and night. From a rising star to rock bottom, she couldn't handle it.

She thought she was gonna be famous.

She'd maxed out her credit card to feed her vanity, buying all sorts of luxury stuff, and now she couldn't pay it off.

When Lydia showed up, Samantha's eyes were puffy from crying.

Seeing Lydia, Samantha looked like she saw a lifeline. "Lydia, please help me."

Seeing her like this, Lydia felt a pang of regret.

Lydia said, "Alright, eat something. Stop crying."

In the living room, Lydia was also brainstorming a solution. But first things first, she had to help Samantha pay off her debts. But it wasn't a freebie. Lydia and Samantha signed an agreement.

Samantha had to start live streaming.

The cash from the streams would go to Lydia.

Becoming a flirty internet celeb was something Samantha always hated and looked down on, but now she gritted her teeth and agreed.

Samantha said angrily, "Lydia, think of something. That bitch Natalie won't let me go. I can't just keep live streaming. I have so many more roles to play. I can't lose everything because of Natalie."

Lydia shook her head. "All your upcoming roles have been canceled."
