Chapter 156 Call My Name
Adrian looked at Natalie's slender neck. She was wearing a hospital gown, loose like pajamas, with the three buttons at her neckline undone. This revealed the skin underneath and a hint of a sweet fragrance. Adrian's eyes darkened slightly.
His Adam's apple bobbed.
Natalie observed Adrian's expression and sensed the change in him. Feeling a bit anxious, her eyes tended to redden when she was anxious. "Mr. Howard, we're in a hospital!"
Adrian met Natalie's beautiful eyes with tears, a hint of redness, pure and innocent.
Whether Natalie's appearance was genuine or not, she could indeed captivate Adrian.
Adrian turned his face away, his voice cold. "Don't look at me!"
Natalie trembled and closed her eyes, turning her head away.
"Natalie." Adrian's voice was heavy. "Call my name."
"Mr. Howard." What a strange request from Adrian. One moment he forbade Natalie from looking at him, the next he asked her to call his name.
"Call my name!"
"Adrian." Natalie tightly shut her eyes. Adrian was truly unpredictable.
Adrian disregarded her hands, lowered his head, and his domineering yet gentle kiss landed on Natalie's neck.
Natalie pondered her next move.
Adrian spoke, "Keep calling."
Call what? Natalie was puzzled for a moment, then Adrian's kiss deepened suddenly, and he bit her. Natalie spoke, "Adrian."
Adrian felt that besides her body being comfortable for lovemaking, Natalie's voice was pleasant to hear, soft and soothing, like a cat's paws on Adrian's heart.
If she wasn't the detestable Natalie, he would have wanted to keep her by his side.
Unfortunately, she was Natalie.
The desire in Adrian's eyes cooled significantly.
After Adrian released her, Natalie opened her eyes and looked at him. Adrian met Natalie's beautiful eyes, filled with the innocence of a morning dream, her forehead wrapped in white gauze. Especially with her almost-tearful appearance, her beautiful eyes were filled with moisture, causing a sudden heat to surge in Adrian's lower abdomen. He immediately shouted at Natalie, "Close your eyes, don't look at me like that!"
Startled by Adrian's sudden shout, Natalie was taken aback.
Did Adrian really detest her so much? Couldn't she even glance at him?
Didn't he just say a moment ago to look at him directly?
Adrian was truly unpredictable!
Natalie pursed her lips. If Adrian didn't want her to look, then she wouldn't look!
She didn't particularly want to look at him either!
Colby arrived in the morning and glanced at Natalie. "You're awake, and you look like you are recovering well."
Natalie forced a smile. "It's just a head injury."
"Where is Adrian?" Colby inquired.
"I'm not sure. He just left." Natalie replied.
Colby sat down directly. "It's the first time I've seen Adrian like this. Last night, he wanted to kill that bastard so badly. If I hadn't stopped him, that jerk would have been dead by now."
Natalie lowered her gaze.
How could that be? Colby must be exaggerating. Adrian detested her and wouldn't go to such lengths for her.
"By the way, why were you with that man in the private room last night? Were you working yesterday?" Colby asked in confusion, as when he saw Natalie last night, she wasn't in her work uniform.
Natalie bit her lip.
She didn't know how to respond.
Rosalie was still at the hospital, according to Avery.
With David beaten up like that, Renee must know. What about Avery?
She should go see Rosalie today!
With that thought, Natalie abruptly threw off the covers, ready to get out of bed.
"What are you doing?" Colby asked, puzzled.
"I have urgent matters to attend to!"
