Chapter 1366 Expulsion Order
Ember didn't expect to be turned down so bluntly. This was going to be a problem.
Ember tried again, "Miss Faye, the offer we're giving you is the best in all of Vachilit. No other company can match it. Plus, there's a blank check. You can name your terms. Our company values you highly and is even willing to offer you 5% of U&M's shares."
No one could resist 5% of the shares.
That 5% was no small amount.
Matilda just smiled faintly, "Then go back and tell your CEO that I'm not signing. I'm not interested in those shares. You can leave now." With that, she lowered her head again, continuing to sketch her designs.
Ember frowned. She hadn't expected Matilda to be so unyielding.
Rebecca had insisted that they must get Matilda to sign.
At this point, Ember had no other options. She took out her phone and stepped aside to make a call.
The door had a bell that chimed whenever a customer entered.
The bell chimed.
Matilda looked up and saw Heather walk in with a stranger. The woman wore sunglasses and a mask, her slender figure accentuating her tall height, dressed in sportswear. Matilda recognized her immediately as Natalie, the woman Heather had mentioned.
She smiled at Heather, "You're here." Then she turned to Ember, "Sorry, the shop is closing. Please leave."
Ember recognized Heather and Natalie. She bit her lip, knowing she hadn't completed her task and that Rebecca would likely be upset. But Matilda was impossible to persuade.
Seeing no point in staying, Ember left.
Matilda closed the door.
She gestured to Natalie and Heather, "Have a seat."
Natalie removed her mask and sunglasses, revealing a clean, fair face.
Heather introduced them, "Matilda, this is my boss, Natalie Teeger."
Matilda smiled politely, "Hello, Ms. Teeger."
Natalie's lips curved into a smile, "Just call me Natalie." She glanced around the room, taking in the walls and racks adorned with finished garments. There were mostly dresses, many of them evening gowns, some hand-embroidered wedding dresses, and modern long dresses.
The designs were innovative and unique, with a strong sense of style.
Most importantly, they were captivating at first glance.
Natalie stood up and walked over to a cream-colored long dress. The dress looked simple in style but had unique design details. A deep V neckline, the creamy white fabric seemed to shimmer with a faint moonlight hue, sparkling with delicate waves. The hem was hand-embroidered with three-dimensional white roses, giving it a pure yet sexy look.
It was like a blend of a sexy goddess and an elegant socialite.
She snapped a picture of the dress and opened Facebook, sending it to Kamille.
Within five minutes, Kamille called.
"Oh my God, that dress is stunning! Natalie, where are you? Send me the shop's location. I'll be there right away."
Natalie sent Kamille the location.
She could tell Kamille was very pleased.
She turned to Matilda, "Miss Faye, I'd like to discuss a potential collaboration with you."
