Chapter 1322 Jamie, I've Given Up
Rachel gave a somewhat self-deprecating smile.
"Jamie, you got what you wanted. You won't see me again. Are you happy now?"
"You'll be laughing in your dreams."
"Jamie, but when I think about not seeing you, my life will be without light."
"Jamie, I've given up."
The door lock turned, and there was a noise outside.
Rachel knew someone was bringing her food.
They called it food, but it was just two cartons of milk.
They wouldn't give her normal food, just milk.
They wouldn't let her starve to death, but they would keep her weak and powerless.
A tall, burly man came out, handed Rachel the two cartons of milk, and looked greedily at her chest. "Pretty girl, once we get off the boat and get the money, you can eat."
Rachel's voice was weak. "Where are you taking me?"
The man chuckled. "Someone offered a good price to buy you. If it wasn't for the high price, I wouldn't let you go. Such a pretty face is worth the money."
"How much? I'll pay for myself. Whatever you want, my family can give you."
"Looking at your clothes, I know you're rich. We need money, but we won't take it from your family. If your family finds out, they'll kill us. Who believes you'll pay to ransom yourself?"
Rachel hurriedly said, "Really, I won't call the police. I'll give you money. Just let me go, and we can talk about anything."
"Pretty girl, just drink the milk. We're almost at the shore. You'll meet your future husband soon. He said once you arrive, the wedding will be arranged. Enjoy it."
Rachel's face turned pale. "Where are you taking me? Please, I have money. I'm willing to pay you ten times, a hundred times more!"
"Since you're so rich, I can't let you go back. It's a pity. Such a beautiful woman. If the buyer didn't want a virgin, we would have enjoyed you first."
Rachel leaned weakly against the container. Only at this time would her hands be untied.
She looked at the two cartons of milk in front of her.
The boat had already set sail. Even if Rachel wanted to escape, she couldn't.
Her phone had been taken when she boarded the boat.
She knew what she was facing. These people were human traffickers, targeting lone or defenseless girls, then selling them through their black market network.
Rachel wouldn't give in.
She could only conserve her strength for now and drank the two cartons of milk.
In less than half an hour, the man came back to tie her hands and feet again.
Rachel deliberately spoke softly, "I haven't eaten for two days. I have no strength. There's no need to tie me up. I can't run."
The man hesitated.
Rachel continued, "I know I can't escape. You took my phone. We're on a boat. I have no strength. Facing you two strong men, I know struggling is useless. You just want to make money by selling me. There's no need to tie up a weak girl like me."
"You're so sensible and obedient." The man thought for a moment and stood up. "We'll reach the shore by the afternoon. You're so pretty. Be obedient, and you won't suffer."
