Chapter 1176 Aurelia Gets Jealous
The overall plot was well-controlled, with constant humor and a fresh approach. The theater was almost always full.
Aurelia kept laughing and suddenly felt she was losing her composure, wanting to hold back.
But everyone around her was laughing, and she was someone who found things funny easily, so she couldn't help it.
She glanced at Derek beside her, "Why aren't you laughing?"
"I did, it's pretty interesting."
Aurelia replied, "You have such a high threshold for humor. I've only seen you smile a few times."
She looked at the movie, "Do you think this antique is really worth that much?"
"Three hundred million dollars," Derek had seen it at an auction.
"That valuable, huh," Aurelia said. "It's just an antique. Even if someone bought it for three hundred million dollars, what's the use? Just to keep it at home? That's such a waste."
"Anyone who can afford a three hundred million dollar antique must have at least three billion dollars in assets to dare to make the purchase," a soft, gentle female voice said, with a hint of cool hoarseness.
Aurelia glanced to her side. The girl speaking was wearing a hat and mask, making it even harder to see her face in the already dim theater. "Even so, if I had three billion dollars, I wouldn't buy it. It's a waste."
Derek slightly raised his eyes, "Natalie."
The woman was indeed Natalie. "I saw you two as soon as you came in. But you, Derek, only have eyes for your girlfriend and just noticed me now."
Derek said, "I didn't expect you to come to the movies too. Are you here with Mr. Howard?"
"Yes," a deep male voice mixed with the movie's dialogue, but Derek's keen hearing immediately caught it. The man sitting next to Natalie was Adrian.
When she realized Natalie was sitting next to her, Aurelia's eyes widened.
She lost interest in the comedy movie and didn't care about the laughter around her. Her gaze fell on Natalie.
She had always been curious about this mysterious and beautiful woman, and Derek treated her with such loyalty and respect.
Derek had told her that Natalie was his boss and had been very good to him, giving him many benefits.
She heard Derek was working on some company, always renovating, and it seemed it would be completed before the end of the year.
Apparently, this was all arranged by Natalie.
Aurelia felt a bit jealous.
Natalie sensed a gaze examining her, but it wasn't threatening or impactful, just curious.
Natalie slightly raised her eyes and looked over.
Aurelia felt embarrassed, caught in the act of sneaking a glance.
She quickly looked away, biting her lip.
At that moment, the big screen lit up, and Natalie took in all of Aurelia's expressions.
Aurelia's face was as complex as a garden, showing every emotion without hiding anything. She was a cute and honest person.
Beside her, Adrian suddenly grabbed Natalie's hand.
Natalie turned her face.
"What's wrong?"
"Watch the movie."
"Okay."
Half an hour later, the movie ended.
Natalie and Adrian walked out of the theater, with Aurelia and Derek following behind.
Aurelia looked at Natalie's back.
Movie stars really are beautiful, with a slim yet well-proportioned figure. Even just her back was stunning.
