Chapter 1285 The Kiss Landed On Her Lips

After a brief moment of silence between the two, Natalie went to the small terrace to continue reading the script, while Adrian took his laptop to work.

Adrian sat across from her. Natalie looked up and saw the starry sky and his face.

Looking at that face, Natalie couldn't focus on the script at all.

Natalie tried several times but couldn't get into the script.

She stared at Adrian's face. Adrian's face was truly blessed with natural advantages.

Claire had a gentle and ladylike appearance, Joe looked very rugged, but Adrian's face seemed to combine the best features of both.

"Is there something on my face?" Adrian looked up from his computer at Natalie, his voice carrying a gentle breeze.

"Natalie, you've been staring at my face for 4 minutes and 37 seconds."

Natalie snapped out of it, her face a bit red.

This was clearly a terrace, so why did she feel a bit stuffy?

"I'm reading the script," Natalie said, lowering her head to look at the script.

But she could feel a burning gaze on her face that never moved away. She knew it was Adrian watching her.

Natalie took a deep breath and slowly raised the script to cover her face.

What was wrong with her? She kept making a fool of herself.

She had become immune to Adrian's face, so why was she still staring at it, lost in thought?

"Natalie," Adrian called her name.

Natalie felt the evening breeze carry his words to her ears, even his voice had the gentleness of the evening wind.

Natalie looked at him.

"Natalie, when we were buying the ring, were you planning to do something to me?"

Natalie's mind went blank. "Do what?"

"If Rachel hadn't interrupted us," Adrian smiled at her shy expression, "would we have..."

"W-would we have what..." Natalie started to stammer.

She looked up to see Adrian already standing beside her.

Natalie's breathing quickened. "Adrian, aren't you working? I-I still have lines to memorize."

"It's not too late now. How about we take care of what we need to do first, and then you can memorize your lines?" Adrian said, slowly lowering his head.

Natalie held her breath, watching Adrian's face get closer in her vision.

Adrian lowered his head.

A kiss landed on her cheek.

Natalie's eyelashes fluttered.

Then Adrian's hand lifted her chin, his other hand threaded through her hair, gently pressing down on the back of her head. The kiss landed on her lips.

Natalie's hands went from tightly clenched to wrapping around Adrian's waist. This was the terrace, and Natalie was afraid of paparazzi outside taking pictures.

Adrian carried Natalie to the bedroom, pressing her onto the bed.

The kiss turned into a fervent, almost frenzied exchange, as if trying to release all the pent-up desire from this period. The kiss was domineering, like a storm.

Natalie, struggling to catch her breath, gently pushed Adrian's chest.

Adrian let her go.

Natalie's cheeks were pink, her lips glistening.

Her eyes were especially bright.

"Natalie," he whispered, gently biting her earlobe, calling her name.

Natalie shivered.

Natalie was already in her pajamas, and Adrian had just taken a shower and was wearing a bathrobe, making it easy to undress.

After she nodded, Adrian's hand slid to her waist. Natalie's eyelashes fluttered as she closed her eyes, holding onto Adrian's waist.

His scent was familiar and intoxicating to her.
