Chapter 575 Too Clever by Half
Heather looked a bit taken aback. "Natalie, you really think Mindy would pull something like that?"
Natalie shrugged. "Mindy's all about that power grab. She's sharp, but sometimes she overplays her hand."
Heather nodded. "Natalie, I'd never turn my back on you. You gave me my shot. I'm sticking with you, no matter what."
Natalie smiled. "Heather, you're no slouch yourself. You've got mad skills. Remember when you said I'd make it big in five years? Well, I'm telling you, in five years, you'll be one of the top agents out there."
Heather's eyes sparkled. She clenched her fists. "Natalie, I'm in for the long haul. I'll be your agent for life."
Natalie chuckled. "I've got some bread in the fridge. Let me grab it. We barely ate tonight, and Herman's drama didn't help. Let's figure out our next move."
Heather jumped up. "Nah, Forget the bread. I'll whip up some spaghetti. You gotta try my cooking."
Fifteen minutes later, they were at the dining table.
Heather's spaghetti was on point. Natalie took a bite. "Dang, Heather, you can cook! Your future hubby's gonna be one lucky guy."
Heather blushed. "I don't even have a boyfriend yet."
Natalie gave her a serious look. "Heather, things might get rough. You sure you're sticking with me?"
Heather nodded without hesitation. "Absolutely. Even if you leave Dynamic Entertainment Media, I'm with you wherever you go."
Natalie smirked. "I'm not a hot-head like that, and you should chill as well. Those breach of contract fees are no joke."
"So, what's the plan?" Heather asked, a bit unsure. "Are you really gonna drop Alice's video at the press conference in three days? That could ruin her, but she's Adrian's fiancée. She's got a lot of people backing her."
Natalie knew the risks. Her threat to Rosalie was mostly out of anger. "Do you know any top-notch video editors?"
Heather didn't, but she had three days to find one, even if it cost a lot. "I'll figure it out."
Natalie nodded. "Alright."
She continued, "Honestly, I'm not sure. Right now, it's just me against Alice."
Natalie was really unsure about releasing the video in three days.
Her threat to Rosalie was mostly out of anger.
She definitely wanted to release it, but three days later might not be the best time.
Natalie asked, "Where's Frank now?"
"At Blue Bar," Heather replied quickly. "Don't worry. The owner of Blue Bar is keeping an eye on him. No one's gonna find Frank for now."
Heather added, "The other guy in the video is Leander Winthrop. If Alice can't find Frank, she might go after Leander. What if they bribe him?"
Natalie shook her head. "Leander's the only son of the Winthrop family. They're big in the clothing business, way bigger than the Cullens. Mrs. Winthrop is a powerhouse, and Leander's her only kid. Alice won't get anywhere with them."
Natalie remembered her high school days, coming home and getting stopped by Renee to clean the floor as she walked through the Cullen family's small gate.
