Chapter 1015 Cassidy's Birthday
Tonight was Cassidy's birthday.
After wrapping up the movie promo in the morning, Natalie showed up right on time with Heather in tow that evening.
When Cassidy found out the owner of Blue Moon Lake was coming to her birthday bash, she was over the moon. It was her first year running the Reynolds Group, and things were going great. She had planned to rent Blue Moon Lake for her party to show off a bit.
Cassidy really put in the effort to make it happen.
At first, Marshall, the butler at Blue Moon Lake, had either turned her down or said he needed to check with the owner. But finally, they gave her the green light.
Not only did they rent her a hall, but it was the third private hall, which was usually off-limits to the public.
Blue Moon Lake had a bunch of reception halls. Even when Rebecca threw a socialite party with a ton of big names, she only got an ordinary hall. But Cassidy scored the third hall.
The owner of Blue Moon Lake was super mysterious, and the place was decked out in all kinds of luxurious styles. Everyone wanted a peek inside. pics of other estates online could be found online, but Blue Moon Lake? Just some drone shot from afar. The mystery only made people want it more.
Lucy said, "The owner of Blue Moon Lake is really secretive, and they've got tons of resources. If we can get in good with them, it would be a huge win for the Reynolds Group."
Cassidy agreed. "Getting the third hall for my party? I think they're trying to be friendly."
Lucy grinned, "With Mrs. Reynolds leading the Reynolds Group to new heights, even the Howard family wouldn't mess with her. The owner of Blue Moon Lake might be mysterious, but they're just an estate owner. Mrs. Reynolds runs the whole Reynolds Group."
Cassidy shook her head, "That's too simplistic. The Hendersons, Howards, and Murphys all steer clear of the Blue Moon Lake owner. People have tried to buy it, offering billions, but no luck. Blue Moon Lake is now a status symbol in Vachilit. Hosting my birthday here is a big deal."
Lucy looked down, "I'm just a civilian. My job is to take care of Mrs. Reynolds' daily needs. I don't get the business stuff."
Cassidy smiled at Lucy, "You've been with me for years; I know you. How's the Ellsworth situation?"
Cassidy was talking about the hypnosis thing.
Lucy said, "It's all set. Just waiting on Mr. Reynolds."
Cassidy nodded.
By now, it was 5 PM, and the party was about to kick off. Cassidy got up to change, "Let's head downstairs."
Blue Moon Lake was lit up like a Christmas tree tonight.
For this party, Cassidy had reached out to a bunch of media outlets. When they heard they could come to Blue Moon Lake, they were buzzing with excitement and ready to roll.
