Chapter 1174 Your Girlfriend is Too Outstanding
Aurelia took a step forward, turned around to look at Marc, and waved politely, "Marc, I'm leaving now."
Marc watched as Aurelia got into the car, feeling a bit desolate. He hadn't expected Aurelia to be serious about having a boyfriend.
This boyfriend seemed tall and handsome, clearly much more outstanding than himself. Even the BMW worth hundreds of thousands of dollars was something he couldn't afford.
Aurelia was so beautiful; naturally, many people pursued her.
Marc sighed and walked into the hospital, feeling a bit downcast.
Sitting in the car, Aurelia looked at Marc's back.
Had she been too heartless just now? Should she have been a bit friendlier? After all, Marc was a good person and a friend.
Derek's voice rang in her ears, "Have you seen enough? Do you want me to stop the car so you can go after him?"
Aurelia quickly looked away and turned to Derek, "Are you jealous? I wasn't looking at Marc. He's just my colleague, my college classmate. I have nothing to do with him, and I don't like him."
"You don't like him, but he likes you." Derek understood too well the feelings in Marc's eyes when he looked at Aurelia.
"Is it a problem that your girlfriend is too outstanding?"
Derek's lips curved into a smile, "My girlfriend is naturally outstanding."
Aurelia quickly turned and wrapped her arms around Derek's, "Derek, I want some juice, I want cream puffs, and I want barbecue. I want to eat lots and lots of delicious food tonight."
"Okay. But first, let go of my arm."
"What's wrong?"
"I'm driving. How long are you going to hold on?"
Aurelia let go, "Derek, let's go to the movies too. Let's watch Antique Enigma."
"Was Marc planning to take you to see that movie just now?"
"Yes."
"Okay."
Aurelia was a bit excited. This was her first time watching a movie with Derek.
This Derek really didn't understand women, Aurelia thought with a smile. But she liked him just the way he was.
After dinner, Derek and Aurelia walked into the cinema. There were still 20 minutes before the movie started.
Aurelia's attention was caught by a claw machine on the side. She pulled Derek's hand and walked over, "Look at this, the toys inside are so cute."
Derek exchanged 20 coins for her.
Aurelia had always liked these little toys, but she wasn't very good at it. She used up all 20 coins and only managed to grab a pink toy.
She frowned and looked at a yellow toy inside the machine, "I want that one!"
Derek went to exchange another 10 coins. Aurelia missed on her first try.
"Aurelia, what a coincidence, you're here too." Suddenly, a familiar voice sounded.
Aurelia turned her face, and the smile on her face froze.
Derek also followed her gaze. It was Marc and Adelaide.
Adelaide was a surgical nurse and had worked with Aurelia for three years.
Adelaide's gaze fell on Derek, her eyes lighting up, "Aurelia, is this your boyfriend?"
Aurelia nodded, "What a coincidence, you and Marc are here to watch a movie too."
Aurelia hadn't expected that after she had just turned Marc down, he would immediately ask Adelaide out. She was a bit surprised, but other than that, she felt nothing else.
After all, she didn't like Marc. She just hadn't expected that Marc, who seemed so dignified and refined, could be so insincere.
Marc's face stiffened. He hadn't expected to run into Aurelia and her boyfriend right after being rejected by her.
He felt a bit awkward and smiled without saying anything further.
