After saying goodbye, the man was rushed into the emergency room after passing out and never came back out.
The family's hope for him to wake up turned into a permanent goodbye.
"You're still young. If your husband doesn't wake up, don't waste your life on this. You should go back and discuss it with your family," the doctor said, trying to be practical.
Bella was a bit taken aback. Should she really get an abortion?
Natalie and Bella walked out of the hospital. Bella tried to keep a smile on her face, but Natalie could see she was hiding her true feelings.
Natalie didn't know how to comfort Bella because she also didn't think Bella should keep the baby. Austin was in a coma, and who knew what would happen. But as a friend, Natalie could see Bella really cared about this child.
Natalie asked, "Bella, what are you gonna do?"
Bella replied, "I want to have this baby. Even if there are risks, I'm not scared. I believe Austin will wake up. And this is Austin's child. If I end the pregnancy, then Austin will have left nothing in this world. Austin had a happy life. He was the pride of the Reynolds family, the eldest son, and was set to inherit the Reynolds Group. People talked about him like he was a dying invalid, but he didn't care. I saw light in him. He's a good, gentle, and kind person, but life has been too cruel to him."
Natalie said, "If you need anything, tell me right away. I'll help you. Don't face Cassidy alone. You need to know that whenever you need me, I'll be there for you."
"Thank you." Bella suddenly felt like crying and hugged Natalie.
Natalie hugged her tightly. "Alright, today is Christmas, a good day. Don't cry. Let's do something fun. How about I take you to an amusement park? Tonight, I'll rent out the whole place, and we'll try every ride!"
"Okay!" Bella took a deep breath. "To hell with Cassidy. I don't care about her business. Whatever happens, happens. As long as she doesn't threaten my parents, I won't bother with her. But if she uses me to go after the Swan Group, I'll take her down no matter what!"
Bella linked arms with Natalie. "Let's go to the amusement park! You're hosting tonight!"
"But can you? Maybe we should go somewhere else." Natalie suddenly remembered that Bella was pregnant, and some intense rides wouldn't be suitable.
"It doesn't matter. This baby is healthy." Bella reached out and patted her belly. "Baby, mommy is going to vent my feelings and have some fun. Be good, okay?"
After a few minutes, Bella said to Natalie, "Alright, we had a talk. The baby said he understands and told me to go have fun."
Natalie smiled.
Bella seemed eager and grabbed Natalie's hand. "Let's go."
Derek drove them to a big amusement park. It was the day after Christmas, so the park was closed, but there were still staff on duty.
When they arrived, the manager on duty initially refused but bowed to Natalie's financial power in the end.
