Chapter 635 Teaching Alice a Lesson
As they were chatting, Bella and Alice grinned and strolled out. Just as they stepped outside, Bella let go of Alice's hand, grabbed a wet wipe from her bag, cleaned her hands, and tossed the wipe into the trash.
Alice shot a warning, "Bella, you better not mess with me again, or you'll regret it!"
Bella smirked, "Regret it? Alice, is talking tough all you got? You should be thanking me. I recorded the whole thing and I'm about to post it. I'll make you headline news so everyone can see how much you take care of Natalie's Mom. You're really ungrateful."
Alice took a big hit, giving a diamond necklace to Rosalie. Since Bella recorded it, Alice couldn't take it back. She turned to leave, but then heard Bella say from behind, "Oh, by the way, that necklace is a new product from a jewelry counter under the Swan Group. If you had hit me up earlier, I could've hooked you up with an insider discount."
Alice hadn't realized she was basically handing money to Bella.
Alice was stunned. By the time she snapped out of it, Bella was already humming a tune and walking away.
Alice pulled out her phone and called Diana. Although Diana didn't know what was up, she could tell from Alice's tone that something was wrong and was super cautious. Alice asked, "Do you know what Bella's been up to lately? Any dirt or scandals?"
Diana said, "Bella seems to have married the eldest son of the Reynolds family."
Alice was floored. "What Reynolds family?"
Diana replied, "The Reynolds family, the top real estate tycoon in Vachilit."
Alice said, "How the heck did Bella marry into the Reynolds family? Where does she get off?"
No wonder Bella dared to be so cocky in front of Alice. She had a powerful family backing her.
This made it tough for Alice to plot against Bella behind her back.
Diana said, "Didn't you know? I remember telling you before, Bella married the eldest son of the Reynolds family, Austin. He's pretty sickly and has to go to the hospital every few days. His health is tanking."
At that moment, Bella turned back. She had left her car keys in the hospital room. After grabbing the keys and coming out again, she overheard Alice's conversation.
"So she's about to become a widow, huh? How pitiful! The eldest son of the Reynolds family must be impotent by now. Marrying him is like being a celibate wife," Alice said.
"Yeah," Diana responded.
As she spoke, Diana covered her mouth and chuckled.
Bella happened to hear this. Alice did it on purpose.
Bella slowly clenched her fingers, her tone icy. "What did you just say?"
"Didn't you hear me? I said you married the impotent eldest son of the Reynolds family. I heard he's sick and won't live long. So you're going to be a widow soon, ha ha ha," Alice said, crossing her arms.
Bella slapped Alice hard across the face. In the hospital corridor, a crisp smack echoed.
Alice staggered, and if it weren't for the reporter behind her, she would've fallen. She was shocked. "How dare you hit me!"
Bella said furiously, "Oh, I dare to hit you, and I dare do it again. Alice, I'm not as easy to bully as Natalie. If you dare to insult me or my husband again, I won't let you off."
