Chapter 1239 They All Tacitly Kept Silent

Following behind Penelope was her newly assigned agent, Fable, who said, "Sorry, Penelope pulled an all-nighter for a night scene and just wrapped up. She rushed here this morning by car and still arrived late. We apologize for that."

The second female lead in "My Heart, Bright Moon" was Penelope.

The first female lead was Natalie, and the second was Penelope.

The scale of this production was truly grand.

After all, Penelope was a popular young actress. Although she wasn't as famous as Natalie, she still had a significant following and had starred in several hit shows.

Her shows had high viewership ratings, and she was known as one of the young actresses who could consistently draw an audience.

Of course, being the second female lead to Natalie wasn't something to be ashamed of.

Moreover, "My Heart, Bright Moon" was Dynamic Entertainment's flagship project with a huge investment.

Initially, Penelope hadn't planned to participate, but the second female lead's character was very suitable for her. Finnian encouraged her to audition, and her screen test was excellent.

Additionally, this show was expected to be a major hit, with high anticipation within the industry.

So, Penelope agreed.

Penelope had pulled an all-nighter and only rested once on the way here this morning. She had also informed the team in advance.

Despite the all-nighter, her professional skills were evident as she showed no signs of fatigue, maintaining a polite and appropriate smile.

Finnian glanced at her and said, "Alright, you've informed us. Pulling an all-nighter isn't easy. Don't come for the script reading this afternoon. Take a rest and come back tomorrow."

There was a faint sound of paper rustling in the air.

Finnian instinctively glanced at Natalie and noticed that she seemed indifferent to her surroundings, focused on her notes.

However, the slight rustling sound had caught Finnian's attention. He cleared his throat and addressed Natalie, "Natalie, Penelope is here."

Natalie lifted her gaze and glanced at Penelope.

Penelope was seated two spots away from Natalie.

The seating arrangement was meticulously planned according to their ranks, which were both important and unimportant in the entertainment industry.

No one would say they didn't care about their rank.

Nor would anyone dare to say they cared too much.

When this topic came up in interviews, everyone would tacitly avoid it.

It was a symbol of status.

For instance, Penelope, although a leading actress in other productions, was the second female lead in "My Heart, Bright Moon," below Natalie.

However, Penelope's status was higher than Rocco's and on par with Eloy's in terms of popularity.

But Rocco and Eloy were both significant male leads.

Penelope played Natalie's good friend, the daughter of a warrior family, Rocco's sister, and had her own romantic storyline.

After deciding that Natalie was the main female lead, the remaining ranks were hard to determine, causing a headache for the production team.

Despite the stalemate, no one chose to leave the production, knowing the top-tier investment and production quality of the show.

It was all about the behind-the-scenes negotiations.

Natalie looked up at Penelope and said, "Since Mr. Harrington said so, take the afternoon to rest. A good sleep is essential for studying the script well."

Penelope nodded, "Natalie is right. I'll rest this afternoon and join everyone in analyzing the script tomorrow."

"Ms. Baker, I ordered some juice. There's extra here. Do you have a preferred flavor?" Eloy stood up and shook hands with Penelope.
