Callum nodded, "Yes."
At 8 a.m., Natalie was woken up by the sound of her phone ringing.
She reached out but didn't find her phone; instead, she touched Adrian's face.

Adrian opened his eyes, and Natalie, lying in his arms, mumbled, "Honey, my phone is ringing."
Adrian stretched out his long arm, found the phone under the pillow on the other side of Natalie, and handed it to her.

She answered, "Heather."
Heather asked, "Is Beatrix with you?"
"Beatrix? No, she's in Suncrest City, hanging out with Rachel."
"I just arrived in Suncrest City and tried calling Beatrix, but I can't reach her. It's been a day; I couldn't reach her yesterday, and I still can't today."
"She's probably out having fun, stayed out late, and hasn't woken up yet. Heather, you should find a hotel, or I can have Lloyd pick you up; he knows the house code."
Heather felt a vague unease but thought she might be overthinking it.
"Okay, let's do that for now. Natalie, when are you coming back, tomorrow?"
"Yeah, tomorrow morning's flight, I'll be there in the afternoon."
After hanging up, Adrian naturally reached out and hugged her. Natalie leaned into his warm embrace, "My agent called; she's in Suncrest City now."
"Go back to sleep for a bit," Adrian's voice was a bit hoarse.
Holding Natalie tightly in his arms, he inhaled the scent of cherry blossom shampoo from her hair.

"Alice? No, isn't she under house arrest, receiving treatment in a psychiatric hospital?"
