Chapter 208 Truth or Dare (2)
Natalie was taken aback and looked at the card in her hand.
It was an Ace of Hearts.
She raised her hand, frowning.
Diana came over with a bottle of liquor, looking quite pleased. "It's your turn, drink or truth or dare?"
Natalie didn't think much. "Drink."
Diana immediately poured a full glass of liquor and handed it to Natalie. Without much thought, Natalie picked it up and drank it all in one go. The spicy liquor went down her throat with a bit of bitterness, spreading through her chest. After finishing, she stuck out her tongue.
In the next round of the game, after the cards were revealed, Diana couldn't suppress her smile. "Natalie, it's you again."
Instantly, everyone around had a look of anticipation.
Adrian frowned.
Natalie also frowned slightly.
After just one glass, she was already feeling a bit dizzy.
It was Vodka, strong and intense.
She stared at the card in her hand.
She usually didn't have this kind of luck even with lottery tickets.
Diana crossed her arms. "Drink or..."
Before she could finish, a gentle voice interrupted, "Drink."
"Alright." Diana smirked and poured another glass, handing it over. The glass was so full that some alcohol spilled.
Daniel stopped her, taking the glass. Looking at the full glass of Vodka, he said, "I'll drink for her."
"Hey, that's not fair. This is a game. If she can't handle it, she should choose truth or dare. No one forced her to drink; she chose it herself."
"Yeah, Mr. Murphy, you didn't drink for Stephanie when she lost."
Stephanie, who had always had a crush on Daniel, clenched her fingers. She looked at Daniel, then at Natalie sitting beside him. Natalie was just a maid, dressed poorly, yet Daniel wanted to drink for her.
This comparison made Stephanie heartbroken.
Natalie looked at the aggressive group, most of whom were Alice's friends, and some were just there for the drama. She knew that if she didn't drink, Diana wouldn't let it go. She took the glass from Daniel and drank it all in one go.
She drank so quickly that She choked and coughed a few times.
"Natalie, are you okay?" Daniel asked, concerned.
Natalie's cheeks were flushed from the alcohol. "I'm fine."
Diana continued dealing the cards. In the next round, a man chose dare and ended up hugging a male waiter, making everyone burst into laughter.
Then, the Ace of Hearts landed in Natalie's hand again.
At this moment, Natalie's face was hot. After two glasses of Vodka, she was really feeling dizzy.
She propped her chin with one hand, looking at the Ace of Hearts.
Natalie licked her lips. "Me?"
As Diana pushed a glass of Vodka in front of Natalie, her vision was a bit too blurry for her to see clearly.
She really couldn't drink anymore.
Daniel frowned. "This is too much."
Diana feigned innocence. "How is it too much? I didn't deal the cards; she drew them herself. You can't blame me."
"Yeah, if she can't handle it, she shouldn't play."
Stephanie added, "Yeah, I lost too, and I didn't act like her."
"Exactly."
Alice spoke gently, "Natalie, if you can't drink, just choose truth."
"Yeah, just answer a question. We're not forcing her to drink."
Natalie looked at the Vodka in front of her and slowly reached out.
However, before her hand could touch the glass, someone grabbed her fingers. She tried to pull back but couldn't. Natalie turned to look at Daniel. "Mr. Murphy, they said you can't drink for me."
Daniel said, "Don't drink."
Natalie said, "It's okay, I can handle one more glass..."
She thought, 'It's just a glass of Vodka, right? I won't be knocked out by one glass of Vodka.'
Daniel said in concern, "Natalie, you've already had two glasses. This liquor is strong, and you'll feel dizzy it tomorrow."
Natalie thought, 'Felt dizzy? I'm already feeling dizzy.'
She raised her hand and rubbed her temples.
"If you can't drink, then choose truth." Diana seemed eager.
Before she could ask her question, a sharp female voice cut through. "Natalie, I heard you had an abortion. Is that true?"
It was Stephanie asking.
