Chapter 1237 Still Care
"No more, take a rest."
Rachel turned over, "Adrian, are you still thinking about Natalie?"
Even with amnesia, he still cared.
Adrian didn't answer directly, "It's late, you should sleep early."
After hanging up, Adrian opened his social media app and refreshed his feed. Natalie didn't seem to be someone who liked posting personal updates.
Even when she did, it was just pictures of her life or the environment. Her last post was from half a month ago.
The photo showed a book and Lucky.
It seemed to be a warm sunny afternoon, with a person and a dog having a great time.
He looked at the chat window with Natalie; she hadn't replied.
Adrian typed another message: [Are you asleep?]
He didn't send it, hesitated, and then deleted it.
Would a simple "Are you asleep?" seem too boring?
Adrian put his phone back on the nightstand. What was going on tonight?
Even he felt his behavior was a bit strange tonight.
Wasn't Natalie just away for four months filming?
It was only the first day, but he felt like he was missing a lot.
The next morning at 9:30, the "My Heart, Bright Moon" crew held a script reading meeting in the hotel's top-floor conference room.
Most of the main cast had arrived.
Natalie arrived at 9:20.
Anouk saw her and nodded with a smile, as a greeting.
Natalie pulled out a chair and sat down.
Although the script reading was supposed to start at 9:30, it was almost 10:00 by the time all the main cast had arrived.
The producer was Finnian, the president of Dynamic Entertainment.
"Since everyone is here, I'll keep it brief. For the next four months, we'll be working together to complete this film. You are all well-known actors in the entertainment industry, and many familiar faces have worked together multiple times. Natalie will be the lead actress in this drama. Natalie, why don't you say a few words?"
Natalie smiled and stood up to say a few polite words.
This drama was undoubtedly a female-led story, with Natalie having over 70% of the screen time.
As for the male leads, since this was an original script, there were two male leads, played by Eloy Strother and Rocco Hightower.
Eloy was a popular young actor supported by Spectrum Entertainment, with many female fans.
Spectrum Entertainment had collaborated with Dynamic Entertainment several times, and the experiences were pleasant.
Rocco, on the other hand, was a talented actor with a strong presence, having worked with Dynamic Entertainment many times.
He was often the go-to male lead for Dynamic Entertainment's S+ high-budget dramas.
Period dramas were categorized by investment levels: S-level, A-level, and B-level.
S-level was the best, and "My Heart, Bright Moon" had an investment of several hundred million dollars.
From production, costumes, script, to actors, everything was top-notch.
To kick off such a high-budget drama, having top-tier male and female leads was essential.
Natalie's involvement immediately got the project rolling.
Once Natalie was confirmed as the lead actress, the competition for the male leads became intense.
Everyone knew this was going to be a blockbuster drama.
No one wanted to miss out.
Everyone wanted a chance to be part of it.
Eloy usually acted in modern dramas, but he also fit well in period dramas.
His looks were perfect for the role. Rocco, with his thick eyebrows and strong features, was very suitable for the warrior image.
