Natalie took a bite of the foie gras with red wine sauce, and found it indeed way better than most restaurants' Novaria cuisine.

A few folks raised their glasses and clinked them together.
Lauchelle downed his drink in one go. "I've been in Vachilit for over twenty years, and it's an honor to know you all."
Saul chimed in, "The honor's all mine."
Conrad lifted his glass.

Vivienne's eyes occasionally landed on Natalie.

'I don't know much about the film industry and even less about Natalie. I vaguely know she's an actress, but how does an ordinary actress know Lauchelle?' Vivienne wondered.

Rebecca had always wanted to be like Vivienne.
At that moment, Lauchelle dropped some news, "The first time I met Natalie, I knew we would hit it off. This estate is my pride and joy, and now Natalie owns it. You are all my old friends, and if you ever want to come to Blue Moon Lake, you're more than welcome." He paused and raised his glass. "I've always wanted to take Natalie as my goddaughter. I wonder if Natalie will agree."
Natalie was stunned, clearly surprised that Lauchelle wanted to make her his goddaughter.

Natalie knew how influential Lauchelle was. Even though he was known as a philanthropist, everyone here was super wealthy. Lauchelle's family had major clout in Novaria, and even Kamille had to respect him.
Having such a powerful protector made Natalie happy, especially someone like Lauchelle, who was part of a massive financial empire. "It's my honor."
Lauchelle laughed heartily, "Great, it's rare for me to have a goddaughter in Vachilit."
Natalie said, "Thank you, Lauchelle."
Lauchelle was genuinely excited and really liked Natalie. There were even a few tears in his eyes. He raised his glass, and everyone else did the same. Saul said, "Let's congratulate Lauchelle on having a goddaughter. This is a joyous occasion. Your goddaughter is naturally our junior. When you go to Novaria, rest assured, we old friends will take good care of Natalie."
Natalie bowed her head and softly thanked Saul, Vivienne, and Conrad.
Vivienne smiled, "This is my first time meeting Natalie, and I don't know what she likes. I have a property. Although it's not as grand as Blue Moon Lake, it's in a prime location. Since you often film in the city center, it will be more convenient for you. I think you can have it as a gift from me."
