Chapter 1140 As If He Became a Different Person
"Do you have the script?" Natalie asked.
"Yes, I have an electronic version on my phone. I'll send it to you." Heather said.
Natalie opened her phone and read it.
Heather, who was beside her, said, "Dynamic Entertainment is producing this. We can ensure the plot is well-arranged, and there won't be any unauthorized changes to the script. And the pay is decent. Natalie, you can consider it."
Natalie read the script.
The entire morning passed, and it was noon when Heather called Natalie and asked what she wanted for lunch. They decided to order takeout.
Natalie hadn't had much of an appetite lately, so she said, "Just get me a pizza."
"Okay."
Natalie asked, "When does this show start filming?"
"June 20th, which is 23 days from now. The shooting period is four and a half months."
Natalie had read about a tenth of the script, quite satisfied with the cases in it.
Clementine Fairchild truly lived up to her reputation as one of the best female screenwriters.
Indeed moved by the plot, Natalie nodded. "Help me arrange the contract signing."
The takeout arrived quickly. Natalie had eaten pizza several times before. Actress usually had to control their diet and couldn't eat too many carbs. But Natalie never gained weight, even if she ate a lot.
Adrian used to tell her that she was too skinny and needed to eat more.
Halfway through eating, Natalie felt a bit nauseous for no reason. She looked at the pizza. It tasted fine and didn't have any strong smell, wondering how could she feel nauseous.
Heather looked at her. "What's wrong? Is it not delicious?"
Natalie shook her head. "Recently, I often feel a bit nauseous for no reason."
"Nauseous? Is your stomach upset?" Heather asked.
"Maybe. It could be that the pizza is too greasy. I'm not hungry, so I won't eat anymore."
"I'll go with you to the hospital this afternoon to get checked out. You've lost weight." Heather looked at Natalie with concern and put the pizza in front of her. Since Adrian fell into a coma, Natalie had been by his side, but she was also injured.
Now Adrian had woken up but had lost his memory about Natalie, which would be hard for anyone to accept.
Heather and Natalie both encountered such things.
Thinking Yancy also treated her like a stranger, Heather didn't have much of an appetite either.
During this period, Heather had been holding on and tried to numb herself with busy work. But once she took a break, she couldn't stop thinking about Yancy.
"Do you think there's any medicine in the world that can change a person's temperament?" Heather murmured.
Natalie said, "What are you thinking? There's no such medicine in the world."
Heather looked pained. "But I can't understand if it's not because of some drug, why does Yancy seem like a different person? His tone and attitude towards me are completely different, like he's a stranger. He's even very close to Cassidy. I know Cassidy is Yancy's mother and they are related by blood, but before Cassidy's birthday party, Yancy was always distant from her. Because of the shadows and experiences from his childhood, he never acknowledged Cassidy as his mother and rarely mentioned her in front of me. But now, why is he so close to Cassidy?"
