Chapter 509 A Gathering of Beauties
Tonight was the big anniversary bash for Dynamic Entertainment. Fancy cars rolled into the lot, and the red carpet was lit up with camera flashes. They had a plan for who’d strut down the carpet and when, but the final big name was a last-minute decision.
The stars were all fighting for the spotlight; no one wanted to be outshined.
Negotiations were still going on right up until the red carpet walk started.
Some lesser-known celebs had already made their way down the carpet.
The media, bored out of their minds, snapped a few pics, but nothing exciting was happening. A few stories made it to trending topics, but they were all about minor celebs and didn’t really catch on. The media was mostly hanging around, waiting for the big names and famous actresses to show up in their killer outfits. The earlier celebs’ outfits were way too safe and old-school.
Halfway through the red carpet, stars from some hit TV shows, Ella Collins and Bradley Jenkins, walked hand in hand, causing a buzz online.
Worth mentioning, Ella and Bradley were an on-screen couple with a joint fan account boasting 400,000 followers who were dying to see them. They’d worked together three times, and while none of the shows were massive hits, they got noticed. Both were super open about how they saw each other as the perfect girlfriend/boyfriend in interviews.
This time, they confidently walked the red carpet together.
A reporter asked, "Ella, you've been on a break for six months. Fans are dying to know when you’ll be back on screen. Any plans?"
Ella, rocking a pink dress with pearl embroidery at the waist, stood out. Some reporters noticed it wasn’t a current or even a new season’s dress but one from three years ago. Still, it looked amazing on Ella, and with her makeup, it was one of the best looks on the carpet. The neckline subtly showed off Ella's alluring chest, making her look sexy and charming.
Ella sweetly replied, "I've been reading new scripts lately. If all goes well, I'll start filming in the second half of the year."
Since Ella hadn’t taken on any projects for six months and fans often pointed out her and Bradley’s matching outfits, there was a lot of online gossip about whether Ella was pregnant, which was why she hadn’t been working.
This time, Ella showed up in a long dress, putting those pregnancy rumors to rest.
Another reporter asked, "Bradley, you’ve said before that Ella is your type. Can we expect to see you two team up for a fourth time? Fans are really looking forward to your next show together."
Bradley, in a black tailcoat suit, had features that weren’t super striking but he had a great build, standing at 6'3" with model-like proportions.
His hairstyle today was also pretty standard.
In the entertainment world, he’d always been hovering around the second tier. Even though he was young, he’d been in the game for ten years, starting as a child star, and had some fans.
Bradley smiled and said, "I’d love to work with her again."
Both were very open, and Ella blushed a bit. "If there's a good script and timing, we’d love to."
After signing the autograph wall, the two walked off the red carpet and headed to the banquet area.
But after Ella and Bradley left, there was a brief lull on the red carpet. Just as the host was about to call up the next artist, they heard a voice from backstage through their earpiece.
There was some drama going on backstage.
