Chapter 666 Reshooting Scenes
"Says who? I never signed up for that," Heather teased.
Yancy shot back, "Oh, you're backing out now? You came to the hospital to see me and crashed in the same bed with me."
"When did that even happen? I don't remember a thing," Heather said, playing stubborn.
"Think I won't buy a ticket to Vilniusky right now?" Yancy chuckled, "Anna Ross."
Him calling her "Anna Ross" made Heather's ears buzz, leaving her totally defenseless.
Heather's cheeks went bright red, and her heart started racing. "Don't call me that."
Whenever Yancy called her that, Heather felt like she couldn't resist.
Heather clutched her chest, her heart pounding like it was gonna leap out.
On the other end of the phone, Yancy's voice came through like a gentle breeze. "I miss you, Anna."
Heather sat on the edge of the bed and mumbled, "Okay." Actually, Heather missed Yancy too.
For the first time, Heather found herself missing a guy. For the first time, a guy had taken root in her heart. During her free time, Heather would often get lost in thought. She decided that once this shoot was over and she got back to Vachilit, she'd hit up Blue Bar first thing.
Heather thought, 'Has Yancy's injury healed? Any lasting effects?'
Heather's mind was a mess. "I miss you, too."
After a few seconds, without waiting for a response, Heather added, "Once I'm done here, I'll come to Vachilit to see you. How's your injury? Is it fully healed?"
Yancy replied, "Yeah, almost."
"Make sure to rest up. Try to stay in bed, and don't try to be tough. Stay out of Frank's business; it's too chaotic and complicated. We can't handle those people."
Yancy said, "I know."
The Rising Winds crew had weekends off, which was pretty chill compared to other crews that filmed every day. Oscar's whole filming team worked five days and rested for two, giving the actors plenty of time to chill.
On Saturday morning, Natalie had a reshoot.
After wrapping up her scenes, Natalie planned to go out for a walk.
Having been in Vilniusky for a month, Natalie hadn't had a chance to hang out.
So she set up a sightseeing trip with Heather and Yvonne at some less crowded spots.
Heather made the plans and found a driver, and the three of them headed to Mystic Summit.
"Yvonne, got someone you like?" Natalie smiled. "If you do, tell me. If you get hitched, I'll have to give you a big gift." Besides being Mindy's person, Yvonne had a great work attitude and took good care of Natalie's daily needs, very professional.
Yvonne blushed. "He's a senior from my college. I've liked him for a long time. I was surprised when he hit me up a few days ago."
Natalie said, "Yvonne, you're awesome, too. Go for it."
"I feel like I'm not good enough for him. I'm just an ordinary worker in the entertainment industry, while he's now a successful screenwriter. There's a big gap between us." The main reason Yvonne agreed to monitor Natalie for Mindy wasn't the money Mindy offered but the promise to promote Yvonne to the position of executive manager for new signed entertainers.
