Matilda poured some water, and the group settled on the couch.
Natalie spoke up, "I want to start my own clothing brand and hire you as the chief designer. We haven't nailed down a name yet, but if you're in, we can use your shop's name for the brand. Your designs will be the centerpiece, and we won't mess with your creative process. Plus, I'll invest $50 million to get this off the ground. In two years, I want this brand to hit the international market."
Natalie had ambition. People often thought she was gentle, but her drive was hidden beneath her kind and attractive exterior.
Matilda clenched her fist, "Really?"
Natalie aimed to rival Rebecca's U&M brand, not just compete but surpass it.
Heather handed over the agreement, "Matilda, trust me, let's do this together!"
Matilda looked at Natalie. She didn't know why, but she felt an unconditional trust in Natalie. Maybe it was because Heather, her best friend, had introduced her, or maybe she could just sense Natalie's sincerity. Unlike Ember, who was driven by money and profit, Natalie seemed genuine.
She had never imagined her brand could go international.
She simply loved designing clothes and was happy to be recognized.
Matilda immediately picked up the pen, her fingers trembling slightly as she signed her name.
Natalie took the agreement and glanced at the signature.
The flowing, connected letters read 'Valencia Faye.'
Natalie felt a moment of familiarity with the name.
"Miss Faye, do you have any questions? You can contact me if any issues arise."
Matilda shook her head, "No questions. Thank you for choosing me."
She had been working in this small alley, focused on making clothes and doing embroidery, never imagining she would meet someone like Natalie.
She had initially contacted Heather after seeing her social media profile.
She had some clothes ready and decided to give it a shot.
However, Matilda did have a small request, "Natalie, I know you have a lot of influence. Could you help me with something outside of work? Help me find someone." Matilda bit her lip, feeling a bit nervous.
Natalie nodded, "Tell me."
Since they were going to be partners, if Matilda needed help and it was within her power, Natalie would try to assist.
"Her name is Stella Hall, around 40 years old. She used to work as a nanny for the Faye Family in Fairview City. Recently, I heard she moved to Vachilit and is working for a family there."
Natalie suddenly remembered Matilda's real name was Valencia Faye, from the Faye Family, the top financial family in Fairview City.
"I'll try. If I find her, I'll contact you immediately."
