Chapter 339 Let Her Go

"Adrian." Christina watched him step into the elevator and quickly followed.

In the underground parking lot, Adrian felt uneasy, like his mind and body were on fire. He pressed his lips together, got in the car, and shut the door.

Christina caught up. "Adrian, you're drunk. Let me drive you home."

Usually, the guy offers to take the girl home. But tonight, Christina wanted more time with Adrian. She wouldn't normally do this, but Adrian was different.

The car sped down the road.

Adrian wasn't drunk. He could handle his liquor. One drink shouldn't make him feel this bad. Was something wrong with the drink? But everyone drank from the same bottle.

Finally, they stopped at Blue Mountain Community.

Adrian didn't know why, but he ended up here.

Natalie had changed and was trying to call a cab but couldn't get one. She ran into Jimmy Cox, a driver for DriveGuardian Services, which partnered with Imperial Nightclub.

Jimmy offered, "Natalie, let me take you."

If a guest in Natalie's room got drunk, she'd call Jimmy for a ride. She knew him well and often called him.

Jimmy was grateful for her. Driving for wealthy people paid well.

Natalie smiled. "Thanks."

Jimmy asked, "Natalie, Blue Mountain Community, the rent here isn't cheap, right?"

Natalie replied, "It's a friend's place. She rents it to me cheap."

Jimmy said, "Nice place, good transport. Your friend is great. Unlike me, stuck in Tranquil District with old buildings."

Tranquil District was the old part of Vachilit. It was fine years ago, but now the city had expanded south, and the most prosperous area was right here.

At this hour, the roads were empty.

Jimmy drove smoothly and quickly, reaching Blue Mountain Community in twenty minutes.

Natalie got out. "Thanks, I'll treat you to a meal sometime."

"No need." Jimmy blushed, looking at her. As she was about to leave, he called out, "Natalie."

She turned back.

Jimmy handed her a bottle of juice. "I bought this this morning. Thought you might like it."

It was peach juice. "Thanks."

Natalie hadn't entered Blue Mountain Community when her phone rang. It was Adrian. Why was he calling so late?

She hesitated but answered.

Adrian said, "Walk back."

Natalie thought she misheard. "What?"

She turned around. "What did you say?"

Adrian's voice was hoarse. "Walk back, 65 feet."

Confused, she followed his instructions and saw a black luxury car parked by the roadside. It was Adrian's car.

What was he doing here?

Adrian's voice came through the phone again, "Come over."
