Rachel raised her hand, shoved Bobby's chest, and pushed him away. "Boring!"
When they walked into the private room, Rachel realized it was Bobby's teammate Dwayne Larson's birthday.
Rachel knew Dwayne well enough; he was one of the star players on the THT team and Bobby's partner.
In a previous freestyle doubles match, Dwayne and Bobby had teamed up perfectly.

He punched Bobby's shoulder. "Why didn't you introduce your girlfriend to me?"
Bobby wrapped his arm around Rachel's waist. "This is Rachel, my girlfriend. Dwayne, happy birthday."
Lots of people congratulated Dwayne and gave him gifts.
Rachel felt awkward showing up without a gift, even though she didn't know Dwayne well.
Coming from a prestigious family, she wasn't used to such situations.
She glared at Bobby and whispered in his ear, "You didn't tell me it was Dwayne's birthday. I didn't bring a gift."
"He's my partner. You don't need to bring anything. Just being here shows your respect."
Despite his reassurance, Rachel still felt awkward.
She took off her watch.
It was a limited-edition piece from a collaboration between a luxury brand and a top-tier supercar company. She'd only worn it a few times. It was very valuable.
She handed the watch to Dwayne, brushing her long curly hair aside. "Sorry, I didn't know it was your birthday. I came in a hurry, and Bobby didn't tell me. This watch is for you. Happy birthday."
People who liked racing and track events usually came from good families and loved such supercar collaborations. But not many could actually buy it.
Almost everyone there knew about the watch.
Dwayne was stunned. He looked at the watch, then at Bobby. "For me?"
The watch was worth over two million dollars. Rachel was really generous.
Many had thought Rachel was just using her looks to get close to Bobby, but now they saw she was actually very wealthy.
Bobby said, "Rachel's giving it to you, so take it. It's my fault for not telling her it was your birthday."
Even though Dwayne came from a wealthy family, he hadn't been able to buy this watch.
