Chapter 932 Caught His Weakness
"Alright, I'll fix everything up just like you asked." Milan walked Natalie out of the elevator, the one reserved just for the president.
They headed to the underground parking lot where Derek's car was parked.
Natalie got in and said, "Thanks for seeing me off. There's something I need to talk to you about."
"Go ahead, Ms. Teeger," Milan replied.
"The manager of Imperial Nightclub, Melody, is an old friend of mine." She kept it short, just enough to get her point across.
Milan got the hint. "She's got some solid management skills."
Natalie went back to her apartment, took a shower, and then got a call from Adrian before heading to Bayview Villa.
As soon as she opened the door, Lucky jumped on her. She hugged the dog tightly, "Lucky, where's your daddy?"
She tossed the frisbee, and Lucky brought it back.
Natalie walked into the living room just as Adrian was coming downstairs.
She strode over and hugged him, burying her face in his chest.
Adrian gently stroked her hair. "I thought you wouldn't come back even on weekends."
"Of course I'll." Natalie mumbled.
Adrian held her hand, lowered his head, and kissed her chin. "Come on, let's go to the basement."
He opened the fridge, grabbed two bottles of juice, and led her downstairs.
Most of the villas in this community had above-ground garages since there was plenty of space.
It was Natalie's first time going to the basement.
As they went down, she saw a home theater. Adrian had turned the basement into an underground starry sky theater, with luxurious seats in the middle.
"What do you want to watch?" Adrian asked.
"Anything's fine," Natalie said casually.
She had seen a lot of movies. Since entering the entertainment industry, she had watched and learned about even more films. When not working, she liked to watch some excellent works to enrich herself, exploring various genres.
She looked at Adrian and suddenly thought of something. "Let's watch something serious."
Adrian pretended not to understand. "I don't get what you mean. Or are you saying you want to watch something not serious?"
Natalie's cheeks turned red. "I didn't mean that."
Adrian laughed deeply, pulling her fingers. "Then you choose."
"This one." Natalie randomly picked a thriller, "The Wailing."
She had watched this movie alone at home before.
Some scenes were pretty scary. But with Adrian by her side, she didn't feel afraid.
They sat in a double viewing seat, and she leaned on his shoulder.
The lights dimmed, and a starry sky light swirled above.
With a faint starlight, the screen was large and clear.
But since she had seen it before, Natalie already knew all the plot points.
About a third of the way through the movie, Adrian blurted out, "Let's change it."
Natalie, being an actress, watched all types of movies and didn't limit herself to one genre.
"The Wailing" was a pretty good thriller with a great reputation.
Natalie explained the plot to him, thinking he didn't like this type of movie.
But then she realized Adrian seemed a bit scared. "Adrian, are you scared of this?"
A mischievous light flashed in her eyes.
