Chapter 675 Hope Your Choice Is Correct
Samuel had just started to show a bit of interest, but Natalie shut him down hard.
Samuel thought, 'Natalie, do you even know that I was into you from the first moment I saw you?'
Back at the hotel, Yvonne was tossing and turning, unable to catch any sleep.
Yvonne was mulling over what Natalie had said to her tonight.
Yvonne was actually a spy sent by Mindy to keep tabs on Natalie. Every week, she had to report back to Mindy about Natalie.
Natalie had figured her out. If it were any other celeb, they would've fired her on the spot or made her life hell. But Natalie gave her a chance.
Yvonne was torn about what to do.
Just then, Mindy called to get the lowdown on Natalie for the week.
Yvonne vaguely said, "Natalie's been filming non-stop."
Mindy asked, "The resources that were supposed to go to Natalie got pulled. Did she show any resentment towards me?"
Yvonne replied, "Nope."
Mindy wasn't buying it. "Yvonne, I haven't treated you badly. I'm planning to bring you back next month. I've signed a few new talents and I'm prepping to make you an executive agent."
Yvonne's eyes lit up. "For real?"
Mindy said, "Of course. There'll be some big changes at Dynamic Entertainment Media in a month. I'll be the VP, so you won't need to spy on Natalie anymore. By then, you can come back and be an executive agent."
Yvonne quickly said, "I really haven't heard Natalie complain about you. You know her; she's super chill with everyone. Plus, Mrs. Howard personally called to change the role. Why would she complain about you?"
Mindy finally relaxed.
As long as there were no issues with Natalie, everything was cool.
For the past two months, Natalie had been filming on location and couldn't mess with the internal affairs of Dynamic Entertainment Media.
Mindy said, "Keep an eye on Natalie and hit me up immediately if anything goes down."
Yvonne felt a bit uneasy. "Mindy, I think Natalie might be onto me."
Mindy, not fazed at all, said, "Natalie isn't dumb, and she doesn't fully trust anyone. She'd naturally be suspicious of anyone I send over."
Mindy added, "Natalie is soft-hearted. If she catches you, just cry and beg for forgiveness. She won't make things too hard for you. Besides, you haven't done anything wrong. We're all doing this for her good, right? I'm in Vachilit, she's in Vilniusky, and Heather isn't my person. Yvonne, I brought you up myself. I trust you won't let me down."
After hanging up, Yvonne silently apologized to Natalie.
Yvonne needed that executive agent position.
Only then could Yvonne feel worthy of her senior.
The next day on set, Yvonne apologized to Natalie.
Natalie got it and looked at Yvonne. "Yvonne, I wish you all the best in the future."
Yvonne actually wanted to beg for forgiveness from Natalie, just like Mindy had said, crying and pleading. Natalie would definitely go easy on her.
And actually she did. She still had the same smile as usual, like nothing had changed because of Yvonne's choice. Yvonne bit her lip. "I'm sorry, Natalie. I have to to this for my senior."
Heather said camly, "Yvonne, I hope your choice is the right one."
Heather started looking for a new assistant, but Natalie said that Yvonne was more familiar with her stuff, so she let Yvonne stay with her until the filming of Rising Winds was done. Heather nodded in agreement.
