Chapter 1404 Being Followed
Adrian held her close, his slender fingers gently lifting her chin while his other hand wove through her hair. He leaned in and kissed her forehead, his voice rough and shaky, "Natalie, did you miss me while you were on set?"
He looked at her, waiting for her reply.
Natalie's eyelashes fluttered, and her eyes reflected his image. "Yeah, of course I did."
Adrian studied her face, one he'd seen countless times, but tonight it seemed especially radiant. Her cheeks had a soft blush, her skin was clear and glowing, and her bare face was elegant and delicate. He gently ran his fingers through her long hair, which carried a faint cherry blossom scent.
He seemed entranced by the scent, lowering his head to plant a series of tender kisses.
Natalie breathed softly, wrapping her arms around his back and responding gently.
"Natalie, these days without you, I kept dreaming about you at night. I dreamt of you running through a grove of cherry blossoms, with me chasing after you. Just when I was about to catch you, you disappeared," he said, recalling the dream that had woken him up.
Natalie hugged him tighter and shook her head, "I've always been here."
Natalie had a flight scheduled for the next afternoon.
That morning, she went with Adrian to the hospital.
Several neurology experts conducted a thorough analysis and simulation of Adrian's surgery. In the end, Natalie didn't agree to the surgery.
She didn't want Adrian to endure any harm because of it.
Adrian saw her resolve and didn't argue.
He knew she was worried about him.
As they were leaving the consultation room, Adrian's phone rang. It was Colby, saying he'd found some information about Rachel. Adrian prepared to go, and Natalie wanted to follow. But since she had an afternoon flight, Adrian said, "I'll go first. I'll update you, and you can join me later if needed."
Natalie thought for a moment and nodded.
Natalie returned to Suncrest City, and time slowly passed.
After Natalie won the Best Actress award, countless scripts came her way, but she turned them all down.
While filming "My Heart, Bright Moon 2," Natalie would fly back to Vachilit every couple of weeks. On this trip, she had specifically arranged to meet an expert for a check-up at the hospital.

Natalie walked into the consultation room.
Not far away, Andrea, who was feeling unwell due to her menstrual cycle, had also scheduled an appointment to get some medication. Seeing Natalie, she thought she was seeing things. She glanced at the appointment board, which only listed Heather's name.

The more Andrea thought about it, the more she believed that the figure she saw was indeed Natalie. She took out her phone and searched Isabella's name.
The associated name was Heather.
Heather was Natalie's agent, right?
This meant the woman who just walked in was Natalie.
About ten minutes later, a woman wearing sunglasses and a charcoal gray trench coat walked out of the consultation room, accompanied by an assistant.
