Chapter 202 In His Hands
Everyone glanced over, and a gentle-looking girl sitting to Natalie’s left explained to her, "There are two Ace of Hearts in this deck, making a total of 40 cards. The two people who get the Ace of Hearts have to kiss for two minutes."
Natalie was stunned.
She glanced at Diana, and the smile on Diana's face made her realize that Diana probably knew this card was the Ace of Hearts all along. Diana, being Alice's friend, had set this trap for Natalie on purpose.
Natalie replied, "I didn't know about this rule. It's your game, and I don't want to participate."
Diana widened her eyes. "Oh, Natalie, you’re not backing out, are you? Fine, you can just drink instead." She clapped her hands.
Immediately, another of Alice's friends, Sandra, came over with two bottles of Vodka. "Just drink these two bottles."
How could an ordinary girl handle two bottles of Vodka?
They were being too unreasonable.
One girl spoke up, "Don't drink, Natalie. You're just a maid. Everyone here is rich and powerful. We haven't even complained. How can you, a maid, be so picky?"
"I'm not." Natalie just didn't like this game.
Alice curved her lips. "Yeah, Natalie, you have nothing to lose."
A girl sitting on the other side of Alice snickered, saying, "Yeah, we’re the ones losing out. Who wants to kiss a maid?"
"Why wouldn't I? I'd love to," said a man, spreading out his cards, revealing a King of Spades. He sighed in disappointment.
Then, one by one, people started revealing their cards.
Rachel also revealed her card, a 3 of Diamonds.
"Isn't this bullying?" Rachel said.
"Rachel, that's not fair. Natalie drew it herself," Diana retorted.
Diana and Sandra both revealed their cards, placing them on the table. Alice glanced at her own card and placed it on the table. It was a Club.
Everyone grew more curious about who had the Ace of Hearts.
Most people had revealed their cards, and Diana finally looked at Rex. "Rex, what’s your card?"
Rex held his card, playing it up. "Guess."
Sandra covered her mouth, laughing. "Rex, is it you? Poor you, having to kiss Natalie for two minutes."
Laughter erupted around them.
Rex said, "I wish, but God didn't give me that luck." He chuckled, glancing at Natalie, who looked elegant in her light blue dress. He also felt it was a pity it wasn't him.
As Rex revealed his card, everyone’s curiosity peaked. If it wasn’t Rex, then who?
Was there anyone who hadn’t revealed their card?
"Has anyone not shown their cards?" Everyone's curiosity was piqued.
Alice looked around and suddenly her gaze fell on the man beside her. "Adrian, you..."
Her words drew everyone's attention.
Natalie bit her lip. 'Could it be Adrian?' she pondered.
She looked at Adrian, who seemed casual, his legs crossed in his suit pants. He revealed his card and placed it on the table.
Sure! It was an Ace of Hearts.
Alice immediately stiffened her face.
She glared at Diana. 'What an idiot! Diana always causes trouble for me!' Alice thought.
Diana hadn't expected the Ace of Hearts to be in Adrian's hand instead of Rex's!
