Chapter 784 Catching a Cold
Listening to Adrian's hoarse and somewhat threatening voice, Natalie chuckled. "Adrian, are you seriously jealous right now?"
Adrian arched an eyebrow. "You know it, yet you still ask."
Natalie grinned. "I haven't seen you jealous much. Show me again."
"Natalie, you're getting bold! Just wait till I finish eating to deal with you." Despite his words, Adrian's tone was playful, and his eyes sparkled with amusement.
Natalie teased, "And how exactly are you gonna deal with me?"
"In bed."
Natalie rolled her eyes. "I'm done talking to you. Seriously."
"You say that, but your body tells a different story. Who was it this morning, pushing me away while clinging to me?" Adrian picked up a piece of meat and offered it to Natalie.
Natalie's cheeks flushed. "I'm running a fever and have a bad cold, and you're still bullying me! Do you even have a conscience?"
She didn't realize her hoarse, nasal voice sounded like a soft sob, making Adrian's heart race.
Adrian smirked. "You're this sick but still went out to watch a movie. What should I call you? Dedicated?"
Talking about the movie made Natalie a bit anxious. "The release date got moved up. It was supposed to be May or June next year, but now it's Valentine's Day. I'm kinda uptight here; it's my first lead role."
"Don't worry. I'll always be your biggest fan." Adrian's voice was soothing yet firm.
Looking at Adrian, Natalie suddenly felt a wave of security.
Natalie's cold lasted a week. Then Adrian caught it.
Spending every day with her, he finally got infected.
Natalie couldn't help but gloat, "You said you had a strong immune system, but where is it now?"
Adrian teased back, "A woman with a cold keeps snuggling into my arms every day and can't sleep without holding me. I had no choice but to catch it."
Natalie shot back, "Who told you to kiss me?"
Adrian grinned, "Who told you to seduce me?"
"Who seduced you?"
Adrian replied, "Who was it last night that clung to my chest like a koala until my arm went numb?"
"Is it numb? Let me massage it for you." Saying this, Natalie walked over and started massaging Adrian's arm.
Adrian took the chance to pull Natalie into his arms and kissed her deeply.
In the morning, Adrian headed to the Howard Group.
Natalie had Derek drive her to the Reynolds Villa.
Natalie had been battling a bad cold these past few days and only went out the first two days. The rest of the time, Adrian insisted she stay home until she got better.
The car stopped at the entrance of the Reynolds Villa, and Natalie got out.
Derek said, "Natalie, if you need anything, just let me know."
At that moment, another car pulled up. As it got closer, it turned out to be a Bentley.
The car stopped, and a young, beautiful woman with curled hair, wearing a white pearl Chanel suit and white high heels, stepped out.
Aurelia got out of the car, and Lucy had already come out.
Lucy said, "Ms. Price, the lady is waiting for you in the living room."
Aurelia took a deep breath. She was actually against this arranged date but had no choice since her family set it up.
Natalie walked over, and Lucy glanced at her.
Knowing Natalie was there to see Bella, Lucy said, "The lady is upstairs. I'll have a servant take you up."
