Natalie sighed, "Samuel and I are just friends. In the video, I went to see him for a quick chat, less than ten minutes. I never thought someone would secretly film us."
After she finished, Natalie pressed her lips together.
Heather knew there was nothing between Natalie and Samuel, but netizens wouldn't buy empty explanations. "To fix this PR mess, we either need to find the person who filmed the video or get the surveillance footage showing you were in Samuel's room for only ten minutes. We can say you were discussing a new script."
But wearing pajamas might be too hard to explain away.
Natalie's phone rang; it was Samuel.

"I've got my PR team reaching out to Heather to handle this nonsense tonight. I hope it doesn't mess up things between you and your husband."
"It's fine, Adrian won't be jealous or mad. As long as we explain everything clearly, it'll be okay. But we haven't found out who filmed the video. The poster was super careful, changed the IP address, and used an anonymous account that's now deactivated, but the video's already spread everywhere." Natalie sighed, feeling a bit guilty. "Honestly, I should be the one apologizing. This video was aimed at me, but it ended up hurting your reputation too."
Samuel had been in the entertainment industry for years and never got caught up in scandals. This time, his reputation took a hit because of Natalie.
"Natalie, you're always blaming yourself when something goes wrong. It makes me feel really guilty. I'm also looking into who posted the video. Given the angle, they were probably on the same floor of the hotel, near the elevator or stairs. I've already got someone pulling the surveillance footage. The Diamond Oasis Hotel's surveillance system is different from other hotels'. It's an international chain, and regular surveillance records are kept for three months. The floor I was on has VIP rooms, and the footage can be kept for up to three years. Plus, the owner is a friend of mine," Samuel said.
Natalie was thrilled. "That's awesome."
