Chapter 1354 The First Socialite's Birthday Banquet
After saying goodbye to Adrian, Natalie and Heather headed back to Suncrest City.
The film crew had already lost a lot of time because of her absence over the past two weeks, and there was still no news from Rachel. Natalie felt overwhelmed, but she knew she had to finish filming first.
That evening, Natalie invited the director and Anouk to dinner.
At the dinner table, the director made some small talk, and Natalie maintained a polite smile.
For an entire week, Natalie had a packed schedule with over ten scenes a day. Heather informed her about Electra getting more scenes.
Natalie wasn't even familiar with the name Electra.
Previously, Natalie had only a few scenes with Electra, who was just a minor character in the original script. But now, Electra's role had been expanded to almost rival the second female lead.
Natalie frowned slightly. "Tell Anouk to keep a close eye on the script."
"Got it."
She took out her phone and opened Facebook, suddenly seeing Rachel's profile. She looked at Rachel's selfies and felt a wave of guilt.
After all, Rachel had come to Suncrest City with her, but she hadn't been able to protect her.
During lunch, Natalie asked, "How's Beatrix doing lately?"
"She's okay, but sometimes she has nightmares," Heather replied. "She saw a psychologist. After going through a kidnapping, the psychologist said it would take time to heal."
Natalie nodded. "Thank you for handling everything."
Heather had been juggling taking care of Beatrix, managing company affairs, and helping out on set.
Heather smiled. "I like staying busy."
Not seeing Yancy for a while had also brought Heather some peace.
"By the way, Kamille's birthday is next week. The party is at Vachilit, and she sent you an invitation. Are you going?"
Natalie took the invitation. "Of course, I have to go to her birthday."
Heather added, "It's on Saturday, so it won't interfere with your schedule. Plus, it's in Vachilit, which we're familiar with."
Natalie nodded. "Even if it wasn't her birthday, I need to go back to Vachilit."
That night, Natalie called Kamille.
Kamille expressed her excitement about the invitation and mentioned that Lauchelle would also be attending the birthday party. She also hoped Natalie could sponsor her estate.
Hearing that Lauchelle would be there made Natalie happy; she hadn't seen her godfather in a long time.
"I'll talk to the butler. The estate is yours to use, Kamille. I'll definitely be there for your birthday party."
"Thank you, darling." Kamille blew her a kiss over the phone. "Darling, I'm having the party here on Saturday, but next week I'll be hosting another one at home. It's a family tradition, and my uncle will be attending that one."
"Alright, I'll be there too."
Natalie had heard that Kamille owned an island and was the daughter of the island's ruler.
Not only did she have a prestigious background, but the island's leadership was also hereditary.
However, culturally, there wasn't much difference from Vachilit.
Friday came quickly, and Natalie and Heather headed back to Vachilit.
That night, instead of returning to Bayview Villa, Natalie went to the estate.
