Chapter 148 Different Emotions
Natalie originally thought that a wealthy person like Adrian would not be used to this bowl of noodles, but she was surprised to see Adrian finishing a bowl of spaghetti quickly, with a better appetite than hers.
Natalie ate gracefully and slowly while Adrian watched her. Then, suddenly, she remembered the red woven pendant hanging in her bedroom.
"Did you weave the pendant on the wall of your bedroom?"
"What?" Natalie widened her eyes. "Have you been in my bedroom?"
Adrian remained silent, which was equivalent to an affirmation.
Disappointed, Natalie said, "Are you talking about the red pendant? That was woven by my grandmother, Helen Duncan."
"Your grandmother?" Adrian pondered. "Did you live in Silvervale Town when you were young?"
Natalie remembered that Adrian had asked her this question before. "Helen's family was in Silvervale Town, and I lived there when I was young. Later, there was an earthquake in Silvervale Town, so I returned to Vachilit."
Adrian was somewhat dazed. Could it really be Natalie?
In his memory, the girl named Natty. Was she Natalie?
But how could she have turned into the vain and greedy person she was now, so different from her previous kind and innocent self?
Or was Adrian mistaken?
Natalie couldn't understand. Adrian seemed like a different person within a day, fierce and tormenting in the morning, then cold and gentle in the evening.

She touched her head and realized the fever had subsided.
Natalie changed her clothes, preparing to go to the Cullen family's mansion to help, but was called to the study by Avery.
"Natalie, there's news from the hospital about your mother's health not being good."
"What are you saying?" A week ago, when Natalie went to see Rosalie, her condition was fine.
Avery took out his phone, showing a video of Rosalie lying in bed with various tubes inserted into her.
