Chapter 1243 Unknown Number
My Heart, Bright Moon started filming on Tuesday.
The opening ceremony was held in the morning, and the official shooting began in the afternoon.
Natalie had quite a few scenes today, including two with Penelope.
Filming doesn't follow the original sequence of the story but is arranged according to scenes and time.
Her last scene was with Penelope, and the next one would be at another location, depicting military life with Rocco.
For the first three days of shooting, Natalie had a full schedule.
As the lead actress, she naturally had many scenes.
After a long break before joining the crew, Natalie felt the joy and fulfillment of being back on set and quickly adapted to this lifestyle.
On Wednesday afternoon, Natalie received a phone call.
It was from an unknown number.
Natalie was about to answer, but the director called her, so she hung up and handed the phone to Beatrix, then walked over to discuss the plot with the director.
During a break after filming three scenes, Beatrix came over, "Natalie, your phone rang four times."
Natalie took the phone; it was the same number.
Not many people knew this number; it was her private number, known only to some friends. It must be something important, so she quickly called back.
"Hello, this is Natalie."
"Natalie, Natalie, do you have any news about Derek?"
A soft female voice came from the other end, trembling slightly.
Natalie frowned lightly, "Who is this?"
"I'm Aurelia. Natalie, we've met once. I'm Derek's girlfriend, Aurelia."
Natalie remembered.
"What happened to Derek? Take your time and tell me."
With about ten minutes left in the break, Natalie glanced at the time, gave Beatrix a few instructions to keep an eye on the set, and went to the nearby trailer, which was relatively quieter.
She listened to Aurelia on the other end.
"It's been over twenty days. Derek said he was going to Ocean Harmony to rescue an elder, but there's been no news from him. He said it would take at least fifteen days, but now it's been over twenty days with no word. I'm scared, Natalie. Derek always said you were his good friend and his boss. Has he contacted you? Do you know anything about him? Can you tell me?"
Hearing Aurelia's anxious and tearful voice, Natalie pursed her lips.
"I don't have any news about him either. Don't worry, he's very capable; he should be fine. He mentioned to me before going to Meadowbrook City in Solstice. I'll find someone to look into it right away. If I hear anything, I'll let you know."
Natalie hung up the phone, thought for a moment, and called Jamie.
"Natalie, how do you have time to call me?"
"Taking a break between scenes, Mr. Lawson. I'm sorry to bother you. Do you have some time? Could you do me a favor?" Natalie was still polite.
Her relationship with Jamie wasn't particularly close but wasn't bad either.
Overall, they were considered respectable friends.
"I want to ask you about a place."
"What place?" Jamie was a bit surprised. He didn't expect Natalie to call him for a favor.
He thought it was something serious, but it turned out to be just asking about a place.
"Solstice, Meadowbrook City, a place called Ocean Harmony."
Jamie frowned, suddenly realizing the complexity of the issue, "What did you say? You want to ask about Ocean Harmony? Why?"
"A friend of mine went there 20 days ago, but I haven't been able to contact him since."
"20 days? Did he go alone?"
"I don't know who went with him. Jamie, do you know something? How much do you know about Ocean Harmony? Can you tell me?"
