Chapter 1359 Private Grudge
A group of socialites gathered around. "Natalie, you gotta share your designer with us. Is she from U&M? Can you send me her Facebook?"
Natalie glanced at Kamille. "The dress we're wearing took her half a month to make. It looks simple, but it's actually super intricate. You need it by next week? That might be tough."
Kamille was dying to get her hands on it, but today, this dress had completely blown her away. She linked arms with Natalie. "Natalie, you know this designer. Help me out, please. My birthday party next week is really important, and there will be even more people attending."
"What kind of top designer would dare to refuse Kamille? Kamille wearing their dress is an honor for the designer. You should know, Kamille's dresses are all high-end custom-made," one of the socialites chimed in.
Natalie nodded. "Alright, I'll ask my friend to talk to the designer."
Kamille beamed. "Thank you, Natalie. Let's go together sometime. I'd love to see more of her designs."
"Kamille, your dress is stunning. What brand is it?" A bright female voice called out. Everyone turned to see Rebecca elegantly walking over in a beige fringe gown.
Kamille politely hugged her. "This is a gift from Natalie. I love it." Kamille, a world-class socialite destined to own an island from birth, never gave face to anyone, including Rebecca.
Today, Rebecca had also gifted her a dress, hoping Kamille would wear it to the party, but Kamille didn't. Besides the grand opening gown, she wore this light blue tulip-embroidered dress and had no intention of changing.
Natalie looked at Rebecca without greeting her, her expression cold. Kamille noticed and whispered in Natalie's ear, "What's wrong? Aren't you going to say hi to Rebecca?" After all, at the last gathering, Rebecca hosted a socialite soirée and announced Natalie as the U&M brand ambassador.
Natalie smiled slightly, not hiding anything. "I'm no longer the U&M ambassador. Personal issues, we terminated the contract."
Kamille's eyes widened. "How could that be?"
Natalie and the U&M brand were a perfect match. Many young women followed the brand because of Natalie. Her styles always sold out in stores. Once, Kamille wanted to buy the same blue embroidered jacket Natalie wore, but it was out of stock, even for Kamille as an SVIP customer. They only promised to deliver it to her first when it was back in stock.
"Just personal issues," Natalie said, gently holding Kamille's hand. "I'll send you the address tomorrow. We can visit the store together and see other designs. The designer has a small shop in an alley, and her schedule is fully booked for the month. Let's see if there's anything available that you like. If you do, I'll ask my friend to pull some strings."
