Chapter 910 Car Accident

In their acting, Natalie needed to chill out a bit, while Azalea should be more nimble and quick on her feet.

The morning shoot was a breeze.

Natalie had Heather grab some coffee for everyone, her treat.

Before, Natalie got some buzz thanks to the company's marketing, but now, with her own talent shining through, a lot of the crew members were coming up to her. She greeted them all with a smile.

Natalie wasn't one to act all high and mighty. She treated everyone to coffee, and when a supporting actor asked her to join them for lunch, she was all in for the crew meal. The vibe on set was great, and Natalie felt pretty good about this crew.

"Natalie, it's awesome you're having fast food with us," said Serafina Nightingale, a supporting actress in this film. "You're such a big star now, with that blockbuster movie and all, but you still hang out with us. Not like Azalea, who's all stuck up."

It wasn't that people hated Azalea. She just kept to herself in her trailer when she wasn't filming, even during breaks. She didn't want to rehearse with the supporting actors and would sometimes send her assistant instead.

Serafina, who had been around the block with many supporting roles, was a familiar face in the industry. Having to rehearse with Azalea's assistant a bunch of times didn't sit well with her.

On the flip side, Serafina thought Natalie, a huge star with a $2.5 billion box office hit, was super down-to-earth. She ate with the supporting actors and treated them to coffee, which really impressed Serafina.

Natalie just smiled in an attitude of not-wanting-to-badmouth-anyone. "But Azalea's got a lot on her plate and she's tired. The morning shoot was tough on everyone, including you."

Another supporting actor chuckled. "Tired? Azalea shows up with three assistants—one for an umbrella, one for water, and one to fix her clothes."

After lunch, with a shoot scheduled for 1 PM, Natalie chilled on a nearby chair to relax and rehearse with Heather.

The afternoon shoot went off without a hitch. Natalie had her lines down pat, and most of her scenes were with Azalea.

Natalie played Azalea's sister, almost like her sidekick, helping her every step of the way.

In the flashbacks, she guided Azalea step by step to uncover the truth.

Natalie's three days of shooting went super smoothly. On the third day, she only had two more scenes to wrap up in the afternoon.

Bronte was really impressed with Natalie and invited her to star in future projects. Bronte had an upcoming historical drama with a female lead as a general, a role Natalie had never tackled but was interested in. They added each other on Facebook to stay in touch.

Natalie felt her career was really taking off, with big-name directors reaching out to her.

After the afternoon shoot, Natalie had two more scenes to reshoot in the evening. Once done, she was set to have dinner with Bronte and Matthew. She booked a flight for the day after tomorrow. Since she didn't visit York City often, she planned to go shopping with Heather the next day and pick up some souvenirs.

Just then, bad news hit the crew—Azalea had been in a car accident.
