Chapter 1155 Husband
Adrian forcefully picked up the drunken Natalie. Despite her struggles, he held her steadily in his arms and went upstairs. Adrian carried her to the third floor and walked into the master bedroom when he suddenly remembered that Natalie's bedroom was on the second floor.
He looked down at Natalie's face. "What a hassle."
Natalie pushed against his chest, but Adrian's arms and chest felt as if they were made of steel. No matter how hard she pushed, she couldn't move him. Natalie seemed to be a bit deflated, and combined with the drowsiness from the alcohol, she said, "Bastard, let me go. If you don't let me go, I'll shout for help."
"shout for help? Go ahead and shout." Adrian seemed to find her words amusing. He threw her onto the bed, crossed his arms, and looked down at her leisurely.
The bed was soft, and Natalie landed on it. She looked ahead in a daze, vaguely seeing someone standing by the bed, but the figure was blurry, and she couldn't see clearly. Drunk, she couldn't remember where she was.
"I don't want to go upstairs." Natalie said weakly, trying to prop herself up and get out of bed, almost rolling off the edge.
Adrian raised his hand and grabbed her shoulder. "Lie down. I have never seen a woman who can drink like this. Natalie, just look at yourself right now."
Natalie shook off Adrian's hand.
"Who are you?" Natalie rubbed her eyes, seemingly trying hard to see the person in front of her clearly.
Adrian's eyes turned cold. "You can't even recognize me?"
He looked at Natalie in her current state. Although she was drunk, she was still quite cute, with her eyes looking even bigger, her lips pink, and her delicate little face flushed with a rosy hue.
Adrian was surprised to find that the current Natalie was much more lively than usual, completely different from her usual self.
Adrian didn't have much memory of Natalie, but ever since he woke up from the coma and was 'forced' to accept Natalie, he found that she was someone who appeared gentle but was very stubborn, with a kind of calm and gentle strength.
He had never seen a smile or liveliness on this Natalie's face.
Adrian bent down and gently pinched Natalie's chin. "What did you drink tonight?"
"Beer."
"Where did you drink it?"
"At a barbecue place." Natalie hiccuped, looking dazedly at the person in front of her. If Adrian hadn't pinched her chin, she would have really fallen asleep on the bed.
As Adrian saw Natalie looking sleepy but unable to sleep, a sly glint flashed in his eyes. He seemed to find it quite interesting, and Natalie answered whatever he asked when she was drunk.
He continued to ask, "Who did you go with?"
Natalie widened her eyes, looking at the blurry figure in front of her. "Who are you? Why should I tell you?"
"I'm Adrian."
"Adrian. Honey." Natalie reached out and suddenly hugged Adrian's waist, rubbing her cheek against him, "Are you my husband?"
Adrian suddenly felt a bit at a loss, completely stunned, his hands open in the air, his body a bit stiff.
For the first time, Adrian felt this strange sensation.
He looked down and met Natalie's bright eyes, her red lips pouting as she called him "Honey" and acted coquettishly.
Adrian's heart was struck hard.
