Chapter 648 Alice's Comeback
Heather shared the news, "Did you hear Alice is gonna drop the bomb and announce she's joining the entertainment biz next month? Since she's still engaged with Adrian, she's already swimming in resources. Mr. Harrington's been throwing a ton of film and TV gigs her way, and it looks like she's got her sights set on this movie."
Natalie thought for a sec and then said, "If Alice really wants this script, even if I sign the contract, I can't compete with her. I'll hit up Ms. Richardson."
Heather nodded. "If Alice snags this movie, I've got a backup plan."
Natalie was all about focusing on movies now, and Heather was well aware of that. "You're still young, and making it as a filmmaker takes time. Good scripts are rare. We can't just sit around waiting for one. You're on the rise. If there's no perfect movie script, it's better to pass than to settle. But you can always jump on a TV series."
Natalie nodded. "You're right."
Heather and Natalie then hashed out the schedule for the month.
The Rising Winds crew took weekends off, just like a regular job. Heather lined up magazine shoots and commercial gigs for those days. Since Natalie joined the Rising Winds cast and blew up, endorsement deals were rolling in.
Natalie checked out the schedule; it was pretty solid.
Each shoot was about 4 hours, so it didn't mess with her sleep. To stay fresh for filming, Natalie kept a good sleep routine.
Natalie said, "Heather, I trust you to handle all this."
Heather was a pro at managing stuff, keeping everything smooth without overloading the schedule.
Natalie strolled to the fridge, grabbed some fruit, and washed it. "I just heard from Yvonne about the trending news. Let's just ignore it. Less drama is a good thing. It's just a pic; it doesn't bother me." It would be done itself.
Heather nodded. "I saw it right away. You were resting, so I didn't bug you. But Juniper, thinking she's all that, really crossed the line. It's only been a week of shooting, and she's already losing her cool."
Natalie picked up a knife and started slicing the fruit. "The crew will handle it. Oscar's really into this film." She lowered her eyes and said softly, "We don't need to do anything. Just keep an eye on the online buzz. Oscar will probably deal with it. The leak is a threat to the whole film. Last night's scenes will probably need a reshoot tonight. If we can see that Juniper bought the trending news and took the pics, you think Oscar can't?"
Heather nodded. "Alright."
Natalie finished and put a bowl of fruit on the table. She plopped down on the sofa, saying, "We just sit around and wait."
Heather asked, "Should I get a high-def pic of you ready? Juniper edited her pic to make you look bad, using your looks to boost herself."
