Chapter 466 Accused Her of Stealing It
She gave up a ton to get Rosalie better.
She was always the good kid, just to keep Rosalie happy. Even when Rosalie seemed to be all over Alice, she just thought Rosalie was being nice.
She busted her butt in school, trying to avoid drama with Alice. In the Cullen family, she did everything she could to help out, but turns out Rosalie was the one who messed up her life!
She mumbled, "Why? Why is it always about Alice? Has she ever really cared about me?"
Heather didn't catch all of it, just heard the name Alice.
Worried about Natalie, she grabbed her phone and called Mindy to fill her in. Mindy was like, "Where are you? Keep an eye on Natalie, I'm on my way."
By the time Mindy showed up, Natalie was already wasted.
Leaning on Heather, Mindy said, "You can head home now, I'll take care of Natalie."
Heather nodded. When she got home, she was kinda surprised. From what she knew about Mindy at Dynamic Entertainment Media, Mindy didn't seem like the type to be so chill and caring about the artists. As a top agent, Mindy handled the biggest stars, so it was weird for her to be so concerned about a newbie like Natalie.
Heather called Mindy because she was worried about a female artist getting drunk at a bar and how it might blow up later. She wanted to get Mindy's take on it.
Even though Natalie was new to the scene, she had just played a role as Esme, and more gigs were coming her way. If she got popular, the whole drunk-at-a-bar thing could be used against her.
But Mindy rushed over right away. It seemed like she really cared about Natalie.
Heather shook her head, couldn't figure it out, and just felt worried about Natalie.
Mindy drove Natalie to Blue Mountain Community. After getting her settled, she called Adrian's assistant, Brice.
"Brice, it's Mindy." She glanced at Natalie on the couch and said, "Natalie's drunk and seems really down."
After hanging up, Mindy stayed with Natalie. Even though Natalie was drunk, her mind wasn't all over the place. She vaguely saw Mindy and said, "Mindy."
Mindy sat next to her, "You feeling okay?"
"Mindy, what if you really hate someone, and they've been awful to you since you were a kid, but then you find out that this person..." Natalie trailed off, not sure how to continue or who to talk to. She thought about calling Bella but felt this was too crazy.
She hated Avery and Alice; they had bullied her forever.
They even got a kick out of insulting her.
Avery made her get rid of the baby she was carrying.
How could Avery be her real mom?
Natalie closed her eyes. "Mindy, I feel like I can't breathe."
Mindy freaked out and quickly helped her up. "I'll call 911."
Natalie shook her head, saying it wasn't necessary. Despite the booze, she was so clear-headed, with memories of her life in the Cullen family playing in her mind.
As a kid, she helped her mom pick veggies. Alice ran over, saying she had cut up her Barbie doll.
Natalie denied it, but Rosalie scolded her, saying she was being unreasonable, and apologized to Alice, promising to buy her a new one.
Avery called her a bitch.
When Avery's pearl bracelet went missing, she accused her of stealing it.
