Chapter 442 Heather
In Natalie's lounge.
Yvonne handed Heather a glass of water.
Heather took it and said, "Thanks."
It hit her that she had ditched Samantha and was now Natalie's right-hand woman.
Heather never saw this coming.
She was ready to bail on Dynamic Entertainment Media and handle Mindy's drama. Leaving a big shot company like Dynamic on bad terms was trouble waiting to happen.
After leaving Dynamic, she figured no other company would touch her.
Heather hated the idea, but she couldn't stand Samantha anymore. Since they couldn't see eye to eye, it was better to split early.
Yvonne handed a glass of water to Natalie. "Natalie, you guys chat first. I'll head out. If you need anything, just holler."
Natalie looked at Heather. "Regarding your pay, Mindy will draw up a new contract. You're on my team now. If you come across a better opportunity, just give me a heads up and you can leave whenever."
Heather said seriously, "No way, since I'm your agent now, I'm sticking around. It's the right thing to do."
Natalie smiled. "Don't be so stiff. Let's just chat like friends and get to know each other."
In the lounge, a scented candle was burning, filling the air with a light lemon scent that calmed Heather's nerves. She looked at Natalie's glowing face and felt a mix of admiration and a vow to genuinely plan her future.
After chatting, Heather stood up and said, "Hang on, I'll grab my bag from the office."
Five minutes later, Heather came back, panting like she had sprinted there and back. Her office was next to Samantha's lounge, and she didn't want to stay there any longer.
Heather said, "Samantha has three dramas lined up, one as the second lead and two as the main, along with several endorsements. She's got deals with four luxury brands, and Dynamic is really supporting her."
Natalie glanced at it. "Just these three dramas? Pretty average, the setup is meh, and the scripts aren't great."
Heather said, "True, but it's the best among similar level dramas. Lydia is really pushing Samantha. She almost gets first dibs on the company's resources, except for Mindy."
Heather licked her lips. "Natalie, Dynamic's investing in a modern fantasy comedy, a fresh theme. The lead is Bethany Coleman, and the second lead is still up for grabs."
Natalie glanced at the script. "It's okay, but the team is weak. Charles Hughes as the director? His plot control is so-so."
Heather didn't expect Natalie to be so picky.
She was a bit anxious. Natalie's resources at Dynamic were pretty lame, and she didn't seem to be Mindy's favorite. Natalie's acting skills were top-notch, and even though she didn't act much, she always gave it her all.
She was gorgeous, acted well, and was never late to set. Why wasn't she Mindy's favorite? Was it because she had a boyfriend?
Honestly, the first time she heard on set that Natalie had a boyfriend, she was shocked too.
