Chapter 879 Introduction
Even Kamille couldn't help but be wowed by Natalie's eye makeup, a flicker of amazement in her eyes.
Kamille's stylist and makeup artist were top-notch, always making her look perfect. But maybe because they'd been with her forever, their style had gotten kinda boring. She'd been thinking about switching things up for a while.
Mixing diamonds with a fresh makeup look was tricky. The sparkle from the diamonds could totally outshine the makeup. But Natalie's stylist nailed it.
Natalie just smiled and said, "Thanks."
Kamille was a bit taken aback, thinking, 'Anyone else would've jumped at the chance to introduce their stylist. But not Natalie. Is she too attached to her stylist to share? Or is she worried someone else looking good might steal her spotlight?'
Kamille found herself more and more intrigued by Natalie. She'd always been the center of attention, with everyone bending over backward for her. So meeting someone who wasn't all over her was a refreshing change.
Rebecca was also a bit surprised.
There were tons of socialites here, some even sneaking in with fake invites.
Lots of them wanted to chat with Kamille, but her assistant turned them away. Being friends with Kamille was a big deal, and getting a little help from the Cross family could be a huge boost for anyone's family.
Even Rachel, the daughter of Vachilit's richest man, seemed a bit out of her league next to Kamille.
But Natalie stayed cool, not sucking up or anything, and didn't even offer to introduce her stylist, which caught Rebecca off guard.
Rebecca worried Kamille might be annoyed, but when she glanced over, Kamille seemed fine.
Kamille said, "I think Natalie is a perfect fit for the U&M brand. Her vibe is just right. Rebecca, you always pick the best."
Rebecca didn't expect Kamille to praise Natalie. "Kamille, how long are you staying in Vachilit this time? How about we hit up a hot spring tomorrow? There's a natural one behind Blue Moon Lake. Why not stay here for the night?"
Kamille seemed interested. "Sure, I haven't seen Lauchelle in a while either."
Kamille rarely left the island, so she decided to hang out in Vachilit for a few more days this time.
"Natalie, you chill here for a bit. I'm gonna introduce Kamille to some friends," Rebecca said, then walked off with Kamille, champagne in hand, towards a group of elegantly dressed socialites. They looked like they were from all over, with different skin tones and bold makeup.
Heather came over. "That one should be Elara Pembroke, the young heiress of Upper Water Group, standing to Rebecca's right. On Rebecca's left is probably Isolde, and next to her is Rachel. The girl in the pink dress next to Rachel is Chloe, Rebecca's sister."
Natalie nodded.
Heather, using some info she had, pointed out everyone she knew to Natalie. Natalie's eyes landed on a girl in a champagne-colored sequined fringe gown, looking super young, with glowing skin and playful eyes.
