Chapter 500 Ignoring Samantha's Threat
"Alright, I'll hang tight," Natalie said, her eyes casually scanning the room before locking onto Deputy Editor. Angel Lawson. "Angel, I don't wanna mess up the schedule. My shoot can keep going."
Angel was still trying to get her bearings. "Yeah, right away."
Natalie's vibe was something else.
Samantha was always so petty, while Natalie was all grace and poise.
The photographer kept snapping pics of Natalie, who acted like Samantha wasn't even there.
She totally blew off Samantha's threats.
Heather felt bad. If it wasn't for her, maybe none of this would've gone down. She knew Dynamic Entertainment Media didn't really back Natalie, so Natalie couldn't go toe-to-toe with Samantha.
Meanwhile, Samantha was bawling and causing a scene, calling up Lydia and Mindy.
Watching Natalie pose, Heather made up her mind. If Mindy and Lydia showed up, she'd take the fall and not drag Natalie into it.
The studio wasn't huge, and Samantha was making a big fuss on the other side, acting like she was the victim. The magazine staff couldn't stand these diva types who weren't even famous yet. They had no sympathy for Samantha and kinda admired Natalie. They all went about their work, and a couple of them were even waiting for Natalie's autograph.
Samantha only had Tessa and a junior agent with her. Right now, Samantha was covering her face, seething, like she wanted to rip Natalie apart.
Tessa held an ice pack. "When Mindy and Lydia get here, Natalie's gonna get what's coming to her!"
The ice pack touched her cheek, making it sting. Samantha held it tight. "I want her on her knees, begging for my forgiveness. I want Lydia to blacklist her for good!"
Meanwhile, on the other side, Natalie was filming with her phone, totally unfazed, and wrapped up her shoot quickly and perfectly.
No one noticed that a staff member had secretly filmed the whole drama. He went up to a paparazzo. "I got something juicy."
The paparazzo glanced at it. "What's so juicy about two nobodies?"
The staff member said, "Well, you got nothing else to post. This can go online. Samantha's the lead in Esme's film."
The paparazzo nodded. "Fair point."
Soon, Mindy and Lydia showed up at the studio.
As soon as they walked in, Samantha rushed over like she saw a lifeline. "Mindy, Lydia, Natalie hit me. Look at my face!"
Mindy glanced at Samantha's face, seeing the clear handprint. It looked like a hard slap, but she didn't dwell on it. Her eyes scanned the room and landed on Natalie, chilling on a rest chair. With her years of agent experience, she quickly said to Angel, "Sorry, this shoot's on hold. Please take the staff and leave."
Angel got the hint—they wanted to handle this privately.
It wasn't cool for them to stick around while Dynamic Entertainment Media dealt with it, and it wouldn't be good if anything leaked.
Angel nodded. "Got it." She then led the staff out.
The studio was now just Natalie and Heather, along with Samantha, Tessa, a junior agent, and a few people Mindy brought.
Lydia looked at Samantha's face. This was her artist, and seeing her like this made her blood boil. "What the hell happened?"
